The sun shone brightly, the birds sang and flowers had begun to bloom. It was spring, and on this very day a miracle happened. A female dog, had became a new mother. She was blessed with four beautiful girls, and a scruffy young male. Cheryl was her name, and she loved her little ones dearly. She gave each one a quick lick on the forehead then lay her head back against a pillow that her owner had placed behind her. The five puppies were cuddled up close to her, depending on her for warmth and protection. When her owner came in, Cheryl wagged her tail and let her owner hold each of her children. Cheryl only wished that the father of her puppies was alive, so that he could see his pups. The scruffy male gave a small yip as he blindly stumbled around, earning a small smile from Cheryl and a chuckle from her owner.

The weeks went by rather quickly, and soon the puppies eyes had opened and they were talking and running about the house. Cheryl named each of her daughters Melody, Shae, Keesha and Dani. She named her scruffy son, Butch. Butch was a rather mischievous young pup, but he had a good heart. Soon, Butch and his sisters were each given collars, and name tags to go with them, they all wore them with pride. When the day of adoption finally came, they were all adopted into homes. Butch was taken to a poor house where a grandmother and her little grandson lived, they were rather skinny and weak. They trained Butch to go and find (or steal) food or items for them. Butch obeyed them, and loved them. But when the grandmother passed away and the boy was taken to a foster home, Butch was left behind. For the first time in his life he was alone, cold and hungry.

Butch, now a young dog at the age of eight months, ran off to an alleyway. There he found the back entrance to an italian restraunt titled "Tony's" and the two chefs who ran the place found him and fed him. The main chef, a rather large man, examined Butch's name tag. "Ah, so Butch is your name?" He spoke with an italian accent. Butch could only bark, and hope that the man understood. The main chef laughed for a brief moment, then petted Butch and left him outside with a fresh bowl of water. Butch enjoyed the company of the two for a while, but then got bored and left. He soon found a junkyard, where he met a stray named Marty. "Heya, kid. Nice of you to visit," he said kindly then continued, "But you're a housedog..so BEAT IT!" He barked.

Butch was frightened by Marty, and ran from the junkyard. He lived on the streets for some time, avoiding the dog catchers and sometimes even relying on the kindness of the chefs at Tony's. Everyone that saw him thought he looked like a tramp, and this earned him the nickname Tramp. He stuck with that name, and with each passing day Tramp gained more and more skills while out on the streets. But he still wasn't a great street dog, he lacked a lot of important skills and he still had his collar. When Marty got word of Tramp becoming a talented stray, he figured he'd give him a chance and teach him everything he knew.

With a short howl, he brought his gang together. "Banner, Tech, Shell...Find me Tramp." He ordered. His small gang of strays obeyed, and soon they found Tramp sleeping at the other side of the train tracks. They told him that Marty wished to speak with him, and Tramp reluctantly followed them to the junkyard. "Nice to see you again kid. So, what do you say we become partners and I teach you everything I know?" He offered. Tramp agreed, and took the offer. Marty got rid of Tramp's collar, and trained him. Soon Tramp was a very, very respected street dog. He stole things and got away scott-free, he rescued dogs from the dog catchers, he outsmarted the dog catchers all the time, he knew the best places to find pickings, and he was as I said before very respected by all the other strays.

Tramp was no longer a house dog, he was wild and free and was Marty's sidekick. Together they brought together strays, and ruled the junkyard. When Marty was captured and put down, Tramp became the best street dog there ever was. He was titled 'The Tramp' he was THE Tramp. A little while later, Tramp found a young doberman pup named Buster. He trained the pup as Marty had trained him, and the two became best friends. Buster became Tramp's sidekick, his right-paw-dog. Tramp and Buster were the dynamic duo, they didn't need anybody or need any help. One day, Tramp left Buster in charge of the junkyard dogs and went off to a different part of town. He went back to the other side of the tracks to sleep every night, but never again did he go back to the junkyard. No-one knew why, but it was because he wanted to go solo.

Every now and then, Tramp would still rescue dogs from the dog catchers. On a fine day, he decided to go around to different neighbourhoods and see what they were like. He first went to a street, with a name he didn't even bother trying to pronounce. It seemed like a fancy street, and everyone who lived on that street were absolutely self-centered and wealthier than most others in the town. The houses were nice, the gardens and lawns out front were even nicer. Tramp ran into a few of his old friends there, who'd somehow managed to find homes amongst all the selfish humans there.

Next he went to Snob Hill. He wandered down that street, admiring its nice look and the even nicer people there. He trotted over to a birdbath and took a drink, accidentally scaring two birds. But he didn't really care about that. After his little drink, Tramp wandered down the sidewalk, and suddenly he stopped. His ears perked up. He heard talking not too far off, and he smelt the scent of other dogs. Three other dogs to be exact. Two male, one female. All of them were housedogs. Tramp was about to turn around, but he was curious. He went to investigate, and when he saw the female his jaw almost dropped. She was beautiful.

Without thinking about manners he decided to butt into the trio's conversation, which seemed to be about some baby. Little did he know, that from this day on his life was about to change even more...

You know, I wrote something a little like this. Yeah, but it was about how The Tramp earned his reputation among the street dogs, and how he met Buster and Peg and Bull, and even Ruby! I like this, I suppose. Yes, very good. :) Anyway, my fanfic started from when Tramp was a teenager-dog, about Scamp's age, maybe a little longer in the legs, you know?

But I enjoyed this. Bravo!:icon307:
