'I can't thank you enough for walking me home, Mishka,' Lady said to the tall Borzoi. Both dogs were standing across the street from Lady's house. 'I really appreciate it.'
'It was nothing,' Mishka responded with a smile.
'Well, I must get going. Tramp is probably worried sick about me, bless his heart.'
Mishka wore a confused face. 'Tramp...?'
'My husband,' Lady explained.
'Oh, well,' Mishka plucked a rose from a nearby bush and handed it to Lady. 'For you, m'lady.'
'You're too kind,' Lady mumbled and took the rose.
'You deserve so much better.'
