'"H-Hey!' Oakly called to the yellow dog about to jump the wooden fence heading to the alleyway. The puppy's white ears perked up and he turned to see who had called him. He wish he never did. The puppy's fur instantly sprung up and he bared his teeth at the younger dog. 'What are you doing here?' he practically barked out.
In front of him, the orange puppy instantly dropped to the ground, tucked his tail under him, and pinned his ears back. 'I-I-I just w-wanted to see you, Kandas,' he stammered, eyes wide.
'Well,' Kandas said standing upright a tab, 'Didn't I tell you that I never wanted to see you again? You'd better leave and go back to being Mom and Dad's favorite little child before I make you leave myself.'
Oakly's mouth dropped open. 'I thought you'd grow out of that! Mom and Dad loved us both,' he explained. 'There's no way that I could have been their favorite child! They aren't the kind of parents who choose a favorite-'
'Go home!' Kandas barked and charged Oakly. Luckily, the younger was ably to scramble to his feet and run for the safety of his home.
