Personality: Chevy is a very easy going, friendly guy. He enjoys making friends with others, and presents a calm nature who only wants to make friends and have fun. Chevy is an out going person, who enjoys going new places and seeing new people. He's willing to try anything at least once, making him a very bold and daring character. He hates arguments with others, and prefers not to have strife, and instead prefers a more peaceful route. He's very passionate about his hobbies, including singing and exploring. He values his friends and family, and would be willing to do anything in order to protect and benefit them. He's loyal to those he values, and it would take a lot for him to break ties with others. At times, he can seem a bit brash and loud, and may not pick up on social cues right away, but he's just a big softy who wants everyone to be happy.
Friends:
Henna: Chevy's known Henna since they were pups, and the two have grown even closer with age and adventure. He sees Henna as a sister figure, and has continued to grow close to her. She's the only one he really opens up to whenever he's sad, and enjoys her company over a lot of things. Though he misses his family dearly, he feels better when Henna's around. They often spend a lot of time together, and he'd be willing to do anything for Henna, just as she would for him.
Scamp: Scamp has become a good friend to Chevy due to their playful personalities. As pups, they play fought a lot with each other, as Scamp's sisters preferred not to get dirty. However, Chevy is a lot more level headed then Scamp is, and tries to counterbalance his friend's highly independent nature as best he can. He doesn't approve of Scamp wanting to be a street dog and leave all his family behind, as he went through what Scamp wants and doesn't exactly find it fun. He'll still be there for him, but he just wants to look out for Scamp's best interests.
Rawni: Chevy and Rawni are pretty good friends. If Henna isn't available, Chevy usually tries to seek out Rawni. The two go on adventures together, and he considers himself pretty close with her. When Rawni came out to him, he was very accepting of who she was, and has presented himself as a good friend to her whenever she needed one. Because of her, he's met a lot more people, and he's grateful to have her in his life.
History: Dewey was originally born on a farm out in the country to his mother, a dog originally from the city and Toughy's half-sister. Growing up, he was constantly surrounded by his big family, and grew up on his mother's stories of the big city. One day, he was chosen to go to the food market in the city his mother was from with his father and owner. His father figured that since the farmer was gonna keep Dewey, he might as well learn what it was like to be a farm dog. They traveled to town, and Dewey was supposed to stick close to his father, but soon got too curious and wandered off in the market while his father greeted old friends. As he began to wander, he was soon chased off by an angry man who thought he was trying to steal his food. Scared, as he had never encountered a very angry human, he ended up running onto the streets and getting lost. Without a collar, he appeared to be a stray.
He soon met another pup on the streets named Henna, who had come out to explore. The two ended up playing around until they met two other stray dogs named Boris and Toughy. After figuring out that Dewey was his half-nephew, Toughy decided to take him under his wing, and teach him how to be a street dog. He had decided to show him how to find shelter in a junkyard when they encountered the mechanic who lived there. He managed to get ahold of Dewey, took him in, and gave him food. The man ended up keeping Dewey, and named him Chevrolet. He was allowed to roam, so he continued meeting up with Henna and Toughy when he could, and went on adventures with them in his spare time. However, he always ended up coming back to the mechanic. Eventually, the man gave him a blue collar to make sure that if he happened to be picked up by the pound, he'd be able to find him.
As he grew older, he became a little more independent and streetwise, though he wasn't beyond coming back home. During his travels, he met Rawni, a stray, and the two became quick friends. Rawni introduced him to her adopted family of Lady, Tramp, Scamp, and the sisters. He became good friends with Scamp, as both of them loved to play and rough house, and Tramp gave him a few tips on being a street dog. On one of his visits, he also met one of Ladys' neighbors, Jock, and though the terrier didn't necessarily like him at first, Chevy and Jock soon became a bit more friendly to one another. Rawni one day introduced him to Michelle, and when he later found out she was Rawni's girlfriend, he was ready to accept his friend and how she felt.
