Name: Penelope
Nicknames: Flower or Daisy (both of them are used by Jeremy to annoy her), 'Ma fleur' (Vincent calls her that as a puppy) and 'Mon amour' (Vincent also calls her this when they get older)
Sex: Female
Age: Older than Scamp and Angel by a few months (around 6 or 7 months old)
Breed: Maltese, Papillon, and Jack Russell Terrier
Personality: Hyper, loud, and wild. Penelope loves running around and messing with her friends, but she knows when to stop. She has a high-pitched bark that she knows annoys her friends very much, and she'll use that to get their attention. Penelope, when her closest friends T.P and Jeremy, aren't around, and, as a younger puppy, she refused to play with anyone but them. As more strays joined the gang, that later changed and Penelope had more friends to hang out with in case T.P or Spooky weren't around. She is very attentive as she grows older and, though one of the youngest, Penelope has a motherly demeanor about her, and though she is pretty hyper, Penelope can manage to be gentle. Penelope will constantly state that her heart lies with T.P, but then there's that French flirt Vincent. The two used to not get along well because Vinny was as close to a stalker as he could get, following Penelope everywhere she went until she got sick of him. As an adult, Penelope finally realizes her underlying feelings (though she said that she'd never fall for anyone but T.P) for the French pooch and they end up being together.

History: Penelope was separated from her parents at a very young age. She was only four weeks old, barely able to walk and starving to death. Everyday older dogs passed her by without a care and so did the humans, that's just nature taking its course, and many were astonished that no one had taken the responsibility of putting the poor creature out of its misery.
At about four and a half weeks into her life, Penelope was finally saved by and old Afghan hound mix who took the puppy to the Junkyard where she resided with a few other stray dogs. The mix breed, her name was Ruby, feed Penelope chewed up meat, since she was too old to nurse her, and cared for the orange and cream puppy. Now a lot more healthy, Penelope was named by her adoptive mother and given a place in the Junkyard Dog's gang, much to the displeasure of their leader, a Rottweiler and Dobermann mix named Buster.
As time went on, Penelope felt the hatred directed to her by Buster's body language and stoney glares; this lead to her running away, but not out of fear of Buster, more out of the feeling of misplacement. Penelope knew that her destiny wasn't in the Junkyard with all of its broken house objects and scrap metals, it was lying out on the streets somewhere.
At first, she didn't find anything but dirt, broken paved roads and fleas, but every now and then she ventured back to the junkyard to visit the only mother she knew. Penelope would stay for as long as she could and ran off whenever Buster came around because she knew he would punish her for returning.
Figuring that things couldn't get any worse than they already were, Penelope wandered around town and ended up on Snob Hill. She had no idea that the place was full of rich people and snobby dogs, it was just another place to rest at for her. As she trotted down the paved streets, she grimaced at the sight of poles being surrounded by small fences and enclosed yards. She hoped that her journey wouldn't end with her staying in a place like that. Later, Penelope came to a large house near the middle of the block; the black iron fence surrounding it made the place look kind of unfriendly and unwelcoming to her, but Penelope was drawn to the house for some reason. As she padded up to the fence, she spotted a lone puppy who looked a bit younger than her sitting in front of a doghouse; his shoulders were hunched and his face was scrunched up in a scowl as he pawed idly at the chain that bounded him to the house.
Penelope cleared her throat to get his attention and the puppy's ears perked as he turned to see the orange spotted puppy standing outside the fence.
It didn't take all that much for Penelope and the gray puppy to become friends. All she did was ask where she was and how to get back to the alleys and dark streets, and Scamp told her where to go. After that, Penelope memorized the rout she needed to take to get home and reversed it to get back to Scamp. The two new friends spent their only week together talking about how much their lives differed, Penelope being a stray and Scamp being a House Pet brought up many new subtopics to talk about. After the week was up, Jim Dear came and unhooked Scamp from the chain to take him back into the house until another misfortune caused by the gray whirlwind happened. Unfortunately, Penelope had found a spot under the fence so that she could get to talk to her new friend face to face, but Scamp's owner chased her away. Penelope got a swift kick to the ribs before she got back to the hole under fence and slid out. She ran off and vowed to never return to that horrible place again.
Now a bit older, Penelope stuck to her side of the fence, meaning she stayed away from Snob Hill at all costs. Later, she ran into two stray males her age; one was named T.P and he was short, around her height, with brown-gray fur and cat-green eyes. The other one was Jeremy, he was a spooky little thing with floppy ears, a curled tail and cream fur. They both looked awful funny in Penelope's eyes and she thought that they made a weird team, but when they asked her if she wanted to start a band of strays with them, she couldn't turn down the offer; not only was she seeking protection, but Penelope was also looking for friends as a cure to her loneliness.
As weeks went by, Penelope started developing feelings for T.P, the puppies' self-proclaimed leader, and wanted to be with him more and more than usual. She and Jeremy's relationship kind of fell apart, but not from a fight or anything; no, it was the fact that he never got to stick around long because of his mother.
Likes: T.P, when things go smoothly, playing tag and hanging out with her friends. Penelope just adores puppies (and by this I mean the ones younger than her) and families, Scamp, being a stray, and Vincent (when she gets older)
Dislikes: Buster, being hit, the dogcatcher, the town she currently lives in, getting her fur wet, Teddy bears, Vincent (when she was younger)
Hates: That Vincent is obsessed with her (when she was younger)
Fears/Phobias: None
Fur Color: Cream
Marking Colors: Orange
Eye Color(s): Her left eye is brown while her right is blue
Status: Stray
Voice/Accnet: N/A
Medical conditions: Heterochromia iridum (complete)
Trivia:
-She dreams of having puppies, but she never told anyone but Vincent that after they had been dating for a year
-Penelope's favorite genre of music is classical
-Since she has two different eye colors, many humans (and other dogs) sometimes think that she's part husky
-As a puppy, Penelope used to hate Vincent's obsession with her, but now that they're mates, she can't get enough of his attention and affection
-The reason why she dislike Teddy bears is because T.P played a cruel joke on her (well, cruel in her opinion) when he placed a ripped up and dirty Teddy bear in her face when she was sleeping. When she woke up, that was the first thing she saw. Pretty scary.
Relation to Lady and the Tramp Universe: Befriended Scamp at a young age and served as big sister figure for him...until Jim Dear chased her away and she never came back, and she used to live around Snob Hill for some time, but was also before Jim Dear scared her off.
