Breed: Canadian Eskimo Dog
Age: Around ten weeks old.
Crush: None currently (Those of you who wish to apply your character for this role, I would be EXTATIC to take a look.)
Personality: Stoic, cool, determind and quietly headstrong. Castro is secretly honorable, but you'd only know it if he was given the chance to show it. A roaming spirit, a cozy little home bores him, but like most of his emotions, you wouldn't know it.
Friends: Fang the Golden Retriever, (Doverstar's character) Afghanna the African Shepherd, (Doverstar's character), Lilah the Pomeranian,(SpiritOfTheWild's Character) and Rasha the Labrador.
Former Friends: Stray the Mutt, Peg, Boris.
History/Relation to Lady and the Tramp:
Castro was adopted from the pound by a little old lady and her husband to keep them company. When Castro spent time in the pound, he learned, short though his time in there was, what a horrible place it was for dogs. He realized how lucky he was to have a home and to have been adopted from the pound. So Castro, though living with the humans whom he loved, would go out every night when he was old enough not to be afraid and search the area around the pound. Secretly he was plotting a type of jailbreak for the dogs, but the pup could not figure out a way to try this out. eventually he figured out that he'd need help from other dogs. This is how he met Stray. Stray the Mutt was on his way home to the Junkyard when the dogcatcher nearly got him. Castro, seeing this, thought fast and knocked into Stray, pushing the puppy off of his feet. The dogcatcher's truck drove right over them. Castro got Stray to come behind a building before the dogcatcher could turn his truck around. Castro now uses that technique to save many dogs being chased by the dogcatcher. Stray thanked him and Castro siezed his opportunity to get help from his new friend with the Pound jailbreak. Stray shrugged when he was asked and said he'd have to ask Buster. Castro grew excited; he had heard about the famous Junkyard Dog leader, and decided to wisely bide his time. Stray came to visit Castro at his house many times, and they were good friends. Once, castro was even caught by the dogcatcher trying to save another dog and thrown in the back of the truck. Stray was nearby and unlocked the back. After a while, when Buster wasn't around, Stray began taking Castro for visits in the Junkyard, and they would roughhouse and play hide-and-seek for hours. Every time Castro brought up his plans for a jailbreak and how he hoped Stray would help with the pound, Stray shrugged and changed the subject. Castro was annoyed by this but said nothing, not wanting to risk his friendship. They talked to each other about everything, had the best of times together. Then one day Castro went to the Junkyard to meet with Stray and the husky puppy was not there. But Buster was. Buster had a while back lost all of his Junkyard Dogs because they had decided to leave and find a home of their own with humans, and now only Stray stuck with him. Castro had admiration for this, but he could understand why Buster was so bitter; it was great to be free out here! Castro dcided it was time to ask is Buster would join him in the jailbbreak, not mentioning Stray. Anyway, Buster refused to help on the grounds of "They got themselves in there, they can get themselves out. It's every dog for themselves out here." Castro, feeling a rush of temper at this, called Buster selfish and bravely (Though probably a little stupidly) began a shouting match with the former King of the Junkyard Dogs, adding that he thought Buster was one of the great heroes. Buster replied by telling the pup to watch his mouth. But Castro pushed on, snapping, "Some legend you are. You're so high and mighty, I'm sure you've never been to the pound, coward!" Buster, of course, didn't take this in stride and rushed at the little Eskimo Dog. Castro high tailed it to the pipe that led out of the Junkyard and left, throwing the insult behind him, "No wonder the Junkyard Dogs left you! If it's every dog for himself out here, I'm glad you're all alone. It suits you." Just then Stray showed up, coming back from a trip to the park with a turkey leg for Buster in his mouth. Castro, seeing his best friend, added to Buster, "Fine. If you won't join me, Stray will. Then you won't have a little servant to feed you, and you really will be all alone!" Stray, realizing what was going on, stayed put when Castro turned to leave. The Canadian Eskimo puppy was shocked Stray wasn't following him. "Come on, come with me!" he begged. But Stray, tail drooping, shook his head. "I'm a Junkyard dog." he murmured sadly. Castro couldn't believe what he was seeing and snarled at Stray. He said mean things to Stray and left, no longer friends with the husky mix. When Castro returned home that night, the hours went from bad to worse. The woman who had adopted him's husband was fatally ill. He was rushed to the hospital and died that night. It was a cold and lonely time for Castro as he waited for the old couple to return home. But only the woman returned late the next day, so heartbroken she forgot to feed him. It took Castro a long time to understand why the old man didn't come back. By the time he did, the elderly woman left the house one day and never returned either. Soon people came and started removing furniture from the house. Castro did not understand and began immediately snapping and growling at the humans who were taking his family's things away. The pound came after he bit someone on the hand and tried to capture Castro. The pup ran away and never returned to the house, and has been living on the streets since. He met Tramp's family and has been trying to convince the former street-dog legend to help him with the pound jailbreak.
