Personality: Francis is brave and determined. He often helps his sister help release captured dogs from the pound by being a decoy. When aren't freeing dogs, him and Pip get into all sorts of mischeif and danger. When it comes to love, Francis is shy and gentle he is too nervous to ask girls out and will trip over his own words.

History: Francis' mother Tilly had a fling with Tramp before he met Lady like many lovesick girls before her. She became pregnant and after giving birth was very weak. Three weeks later they were all caught by the dog catcher. When in the pound Francis was very scared but enjoyed hearing stories of the streets.He was told these stories by the dogs Lady met in the pound. Not long after Francis' mother and his brother Scruff were adopted together, and later Bonnie was too. One week later Pippy relesed herself and then Francis along with Cleo and the other dogs from the pound.

Even though he was still a pup he was fearless and made a good leader. The pups formed a gang/pack/group thing. Soon it grew to contain nine canins including Busters brother Raymond. Raymond was jealous of the pup position and planned to get rid of him. When 14 in dog years Francis was leading one of the most succesful dog gang things in the town. They had a hide out in the park and often met other dogs who asked to join. raymond had started to go out with Pippy and Francis didn't like it (because he didn't trust Raymond) His suspicions were confirmed when Raymond tried to kill him. They were alone and Raymond had attacked Francis but Francis wriggled free and ran with Raymond chasing. He was chased onto the tracks and then heard a yelp come from Raymond but Francis didn't stop until he heard his sister call out to him but by then they were both running from a train. They were forced to jump of the side and Francis landed in the shallows breaking his front right leg. He didn't pass out but he wasn't really aware of what was going on. When he regained his senses he was on a patched pillow with feathers spillling out of it. Pip was with him and comforted him. He recovered quickly but had a slighty sore leg for life. He met the mongrel Ben whilst streching his legs by walking around the park and they became best friends.
