Greetings! I've been absent from this website for a while, but have returned to check it out once more. You can call me Sol, if you'd like.

I am currently a 2nd year veterinary student. I have aspirations of being a companion/small animal general practitioner with a focus on working dogs. I have been a musher for just shy of 10 years and hope to build my own kennel of Siberian Huskies to race sprint and mid-distance races. I currently own 2 dogs (one retired mutt and my current lead dog, a Siberian) and 3 cats. Besides running dogs, I also love other outdoor activities such as archery, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, etc.

I have a history of doing some art. A lot of my stuff can be seen at http://Sol-leks3.deviantart.com/

The photo was taken during the American Dog Derby in Ashton, ID. I was in the 8 dog 45-mile class that year.

I'm always more than happy to chat about sled dogs :) I may be slow to respond though because, ya know, vet school.
