"To die would be an awfully big adventure." Welcome to my Profile I am assuming if you are looking here you want to know some things about me. So, here ya go: 1. I am a junoir in high school and in my schools Color Guard(if you already couldn't tell by my username)! I love Guard a lot so I thought I'd show it. Um, I'm also a bit inerested in theatre. I've been in a few plays in my school (Aladdin, the musical 13, Lost in Yonkers) but I'm not all that into it. 2. I also have recently gotten into sword fighting. I take classes and use a German Longsword. There's a fun fact for you guys! I'm not totally boring. I am not sure how I got into this but I saw some videos on youtube, then found a place close by that has classes and the rest was history. 3. I am a straight A student so if I disappear for a bit, that is most likely the reason. I love to read and write all kinds of stories. 4. I love Game of Thrones. I've read [...] See full presentation

Featherv enom	February 11, 2013

Can we just kinda officially be friends? xD

ColorGua rdFate	February 11, 2013

Yay, another Guard member. I must admit, that I love that story. The moral is so truthful and a universal theme.

Charlee	February 10, 2013

Okay, you're on my friends list. :3 And yaaay, even more guardies!!

Featherv enom	February 09, 2013

Spin Forth, fellow Guard member! I've been in Winterguard two years and summerguard one so far -- oh my gosh, I love it. ^^ My mother is the guard director(that kinda sucks xD), and was in guard all four years of highschool... she also got to try out for and *made* an independant guard, though she didn't go for it. Moral of the story? ...Guard rocks. xD

ColorGua rdFate	February 07, 2013

I'd like that =)

Charlee	February 07, 2013

Sounds cool! We should be friends. (:

ColorGua rdFate	February 06, 2013

We've chosen No Light, No Light by Florence + The Machine. I've never heard of it until our captain picked it but I thought it was a good pick.

Charlee	February 06, 2013

What song you guys doing for Winter-guard? (indoor show)

ColorGua rdFate	February 06, 2013

That's pretty amazing. Our director kind of sprung it on us last minute. He only sent in an email before disappearing. It took us a bit to adjust but we've managed through it up to this point. Our captain is working really hard now, and we're all proud of her for doing most of the work to keep it going. It was a lot of fun to write our own show and we gained more freedom that way. i know the school is looking for a new coach for outdoor season but for now it's just us. We have our first competition this weekend and, surprisingly, I'm more excited than nervous. =)

Charlee	February 06, 2013

My first year as captain that happened! Our original coach retired, and she'd been with the school for almost a decade. And she retired my first year as captain. It was hard at first, but we all got through it long enough until we got another coach! (:
We did pretty well in our competitions! We always were the best in the town (out of like 10 other competing schools). And probably around 5-9th (out of about 30) best throughout State Competitions. Each year was different. My first year we got 4th place at State. My last year we got 7th - but the other competitors were amazing!

ColorGua rdFate	February 06, 2013

That's so cool! I'm in my sophomore year in high school and my second year in the color-guard. We recently went through a change where our director quit on us right before Indoor guard. We were discouraged to continue it without anyone to help but we decided to try. My team just wrote our show in a short amount of time so we're going to start competitions now, which is the reason I changed my username and avatar. It was nice to meet someone else who was involved it color-guard, thanks for saying something ^^

Charlee	February 06, 2013

Hey! (:
I'd just like to say that I love your username and avatar! I was really into color-guard growing up. My last two years of high school I was the color-guard captain for the high school color-guard! (:

ColorGua rdFate	January 13, 2013

Ha, you're the first person to get my avatar, or at least say something about it. Yeah, my friend kind of got me into it so In changed my avatar, wondering to see if people would catch on.
