JC-- all RP and shout boxes have been active at one time but that was a troll doing or as Yukon said, he made them active xD (I did that once and got in trouble)

Here we are talking about genuine conversations going on.

EveryonelovesKoko --> It was more like an instance of "All the other source's are always dead! Let's talk in their shoutboxes and give the sources the activity they deserve!" I would know because I took part in it!

I thought this was a great way to encourage other members to come visit the other shoutboxes and at least give the other sources some recognition. I mean, the sources are there, so what's the point of ignoring them?

yeah ... the tab thing was only that out of hand because I needed to go onto multiple things without loosing track, mainly youtube. The majority are nothing to do with the subject whatsoever so please don't hold it against the news ... BTW I still need to go through them right now and it's been an entire day XD mybad !

That's pretty cool about the shoutboxes though. I rarely go on to any of them, I feel like a foreigner because every seems to know everyone and I jump in the middle of conversations when I have no idea what's going on.

I did, however, get to play some Battlefield 3 with some cool folks I met on a shoutbox. That was pretty neat. A bit funny too, considering we are all fans of animated films which are generally family friendly, and we go online and destroy people with guns and explosives. Hm.

All the shoutboxes have totally been active before xD This is probably about the third or fourth time.

And those times were all conversations. Of course, I don't know for sure, and I doubt there'd be enough people online to have a unique and genuine conversation in each box, but I'd bet my face that this was the result of ' Oh, look, four or five shoutboxes are open- let's activate the other ones'

But well done to you for opening all of them! ^^

I believe the term for this is "Correllation =\= Causation." Although I gotta admit, it would be nice to see it officially happen.

I'm glad to see there's still activity around here! Though all shoutboxes were active in the past, it wasn't really official due to the fact it was just troll messages. At least this looks like there was actual conversation going on in the shoutboxes this time. Let's hope people will do this more often! I find participating in the less-active sites to be more interesting, even though I usually haven't partaken in the chatting aspect anymore.
I'm also glad to see some fun news like this, too. Spices things up a bit.

I've been in the boxes today, only the usual boxes ones are active, so...

Most members probably just go to other inactive boxes to have more private rps and chats. Just being on the SBs doesn't make that source 'active', and vise-versa as Mighty stated.

I believe you and I had a conversation recently about activity... Just because the shoutbox isn't active, doesn't mean the site isn't.

I made all the shoutboxes active once, and I got in trouble for it. Oh the inconsistency.

This is the first confirmed time that all the shoutboxes were active? I'm not so certain about that. I seem to recall occasions where there was that much activity on Animation Source in years past.
