Well said, well said. A bit long, but still. However, even you made this sound like it's some sort of war. I think everyone should read what you say because of the point it has, but frankly I'm not sure they'll understand it much and think of it as a great catastrophic event _____. Let's review and analyze, shall we?

-This troll has NOT been- to public knowledge or my own, at the least- identified. Have we any idea of what we're doing by throwing accusations? This is like a suspension of the American Habeus Corpus, or, like most legal actions these days-it's not helping. Can't you see? The troll is, obviously, smarter than perceived. Call him/her/them dumb all you wish, but we're being foolish by tossing accusations around like wildfire. They WANT this. They want us to eat ourselves, destroy ourselves-brother against brother, until we're defeated. Then, they will commence further destruction, and we'll be so busy trying to provide unjust evidence and throwing out suspicions and bans to snap out of it.

-My second point being, this is NOT too uncommon. Hackage has happened before, and it will happen again. There is no certain way that we can remain completely unharmed. We're not Some big fancy governmental organization, and even THOSE have been hacked. I am NOT saying that our moderators are lazy, unfocused, or too dumb enough to care, I'm stating that what goes around, comes around. So enough of the "OMG this is liek catastrophic i'mma diee in a holee" nonsense. I understand this may comes as a suprise to our newer/younger members, but there is always a chance something can be hacked, guys, and if you don't want to put up with trolls, just don't join, and then you won't be permabanned, deleted, or be involved in baby-like antics.

-My third point is that said Neanderthal troll(s) is/was most likely a member here. Perhaps someone with a knowledge of the Admin/Mod business, I don't know, maybe they're just witty. But we need not press charges or false witnesses without serious thinking over. I, personally, have private suspicions, but I only made these after shoveling through evidence. And before you think I'm being hypocritical, think about this-I have NOT tossed accusations publicly. I have NOT shown grudges against members. I have NOT sent warrants for "arrests" that the moderators should carry out in doing. I have NOT displayed my evidence to persons of high authorities here on AS. I am not suggesting, or aiding, siding, or agreeing with accusations- as far as my memory goes- in public. Please, share thoughts with trusted friends via PMs, or keep them to yourself, but don't add your match to this fire.

-Another point being, "A nation divided amongst itself cannot stand" (as far as I know, that's the quote). If we blame others, start public wars, and continue to "poke the bear" (comic relief-"Modern Family" reference, anyone?) the "Baww" attacks and "squee"ing will continue. It's like children hazing each other-stop showing attention, and they'll get bored. This IS a troll we're speaking of, afterall, and while they may want to sound like an impish child begging for attention, all "children" need "nap times." Come ON, people. We've survived so much injustice before-why let THIS bother us? We're a "nation" of fans, sharing a passion for animated classic movies (well, some of us). This site brought us together. We encountered new friends, passions, even lovers through AS. Why trash it because of a TROLL, for shizz's sake?

Anyways, sort of a repeat to past posts, but with new insights. I hope peace returns. Let us not feed the animal that attracts us, and let's not turn into what this animal is.

*sighs* I'm agree with Imagine 100%. You people should know that the troll is probably already known by the mods and you people should shut your yaps about it and be happy your site is back. I'm probably sounding rude right now, but thats just too bad. You people should realize that if this hacker managed to hack this site he's smart enough to not let random people like you to figure it out.

I wasn't even going to comment on here, but since this has gotten really bad, I just want to say something. But before I do, I want to let you know, I don't hate ANYONE!! I'm not going to call anyone names, put people down, or accuse anybody. And this is JUST what I feel. So don't think for a second that I'm completely right, because I may not be.

Ok, I'm pretty sure one of the main goals of trolls and hackers is this:

To get people angry with each other AND with the troll.

(There are others, but I just want to name this one.)

Now if may I ask...what are some of us doing right now?...being angry at each other and the troll. Like I said, I'm not accusing any particular person or people, this is all generally what I see.

Sure, you maybe annoyed with this person, and angry too. I was also, I'll admit that. But I think we should just keep it to ourselves. I'm not telling you to not care, because I care about this site as much as a lot of you do, but I don't want to satisfy the hacker either. Care about the sites, just not the person who messed with them. It's not worth it.

Even if the hacker is gone and won't be on the sites anymore, it doesn't EXACTLY mean we won. It just means we stopped him from doing any MORE damage. (still a good thing nonetheless). The hacker is probably sitting back on his computer chair, feeling so satisfied at all our disputes and anger. I'm not happy he did this, but I'm not going to waste my time arguing, especially when the problem's already been solved.

One more thing. Are we going to let one person get in the way of all of us? One person? I think all of us are stronger and smarter than this. I'm NOT calling anyone stupid by the way, NO ONE (according to me at least) is stupid. I was just getting to enjoy the site again after a whole lot of arguing about the rules and regulations. Then this happened. And I'm not talking about the hacking when I say that, I'm talking about our behavior on here. (Again, all general)

I'm hardly a suspect. I was helping with the whole mess by unbanning people, and removing my staff to prevent further mod accounts from being broke into. I was a target because I was online during the time it occurred. And honestly, I would have no reason to hack this site, I don't even know how to hack. Even if I did wouldn't. I wouldn't gain anything from it.

Besides, the hacker has been tracked down, and I know who it is. I won't tell anyone on this site. All I can tell you is it WASN'T Skul or anyone else well known to AS. In fact, they were never a member to begin with. I will say no more on that matter.

Colby-> I've seen that youtube video before; but a different one though. It show's him; yes he's a him; and it show's him putting on messages on the comments on BS to get people on here in trouble. And the person is small kid who things he's in his 20's; because in one of his videos that he made you hear him talking, and he sounds like a 10 year old. I hate when kids do that. @Colby: That was just a troll, who wanted to look "cool" who used a simple Java Script edit to fake text changes which did no real editing. I can assure you that's not who it was.

Punky-->Yes, they changed a LOT of members' passwords. Once the mods get their powers back, you can PM one of them and ask to have it changed back for you.

Shadowtail-->First of all, why are you not even using your real username? Are you afraid that I'll retaliate or something? Secondly, I can provide SCREENCAPS of the banned box to prove that I said nothing the likes of which you are accusing me of doing. And need I also say that not only did Maverick also end up posting the spam messages in the shout box identical to mine, but also Draco and several other members? I was minding my own business when that happened.

At any rate, this conversation is getting us nowhere. I have solid proof as to who the hacker was, which Steet and GW also have, so they can back me up on that. And I repeat, Why WOULD I do that to Animation Source? What would I have to gain from it?

Other evidence it wasn't me? My own account got deleted, halfway through the night. Would it help if I showed YOU, Shadow, the report that Steet and GW possess? Seems to me you are the only one that accuses me of hacking AS. I can assure you that it was nobody that was a member of the site. Me, Lucario, and several other members who have been accused as the hacker are clear and, more importantly, actually HELPED to get AS under control.

I might know who did it. He showed a video on youtube called "balto source sucks". The youtube username is bugylukki. On the video, it showed him hacking into balto source back in 2009. I'm not 100% sure, but I thought he or she might do it again.

Skul is NOT the troll. His account was the first to be hacked. I was there the night of the hacking, even I MYSELF was hacked. Does that make me a troll? No, it doesn't.

I went back in the shoutbox and saw you troll under your account before other accounts were being hacked. I've also heard from multiple sources that you admitted it in the banned box before retracting your statement.

I think you want people to pm you for a detailed account so you can fill their head with lies. The other mods seem to be keeping quiet about this to diffuse the situation but you continue to offer people a descriptive account of what happened. Generally when people hack sites they like to see the aftermath and get some sick pleasure out of re-telling the story of what happened. I think it was you. You normally do exactly what the other mods say to do but in this case you just keep on talking.

I want to clarify a few things. Firstly, the reasons I have such a detailed account is because I WAS THERE when all of this took place, and I was the one who helped GW shut down the site. It was a necessity; you didn't want this hacker to delete every single account, did you? And also, I am only going to go back and delete the messages with vulgar text in them, as well as some of the messages concerning the argument about typos. Some other messages I will simply edit. Abusing my powers? i don't think so; after all, this is the comment section for a news article concerning "AS Under Attack", not "AS full of Typos!"

I repeat (because I haven't made the news article myself) that I have the full-detailed account of what happened. Part of it is from my end, from what I saw and helped to execute on the site, part is from GW's end, part of it is from Lucario's end, and various other members as well. In short, it is about as detailed as an account of this type can get.

For those who are saying I'm the hacker, what evidence do you have? Why WOULD I want to hack AS, one of the sites I visit more than any other, and love more than any other?
