This is a note from the moderators of all the Sources. It is important, and if you make characters, regard this as an official rule.
Recently, characters site-wide have been created that are based on, resemble, are named after, or otherwise bear a resemblance to other characters that have already been established in other media. That may seem like a mouthful to you, so let's break it down.
Say, on Bambi Source, a deer character is made that is named Pascal. It's green, doesn't speak, and is best friends with a girl named Rapunzel. This is not at all okay, as it is considered stealing an official character from another film, even if that film doesn't have a Source. From here on, any characters created as such will be considered character theft.
The punishment for this is the character always being deleted. After the first offense, the person who created the character will receive a warning. After that, it will be a ban.

Same with my fursona, that I'm now posting, yet again for the 6th
time. Please if you delete her, could you send me a PM saying why?
Shes been up on the site for over a year, and now since this rule was
posted, someone keeps deleting her =/ She isn't based off of anything that I know of, and she follows all of the rules. ~~~~~~ Why are the mods only deleting select characters? There are still a few Hetalia fan dogs floating around, why don't you guys go after them, not our original characters myself, and a couple others are trying to post? And I will not give out the names of the people who still have the Hetalia dogs. I am not a rat. If you want to delete them, please find them yourself. I think that there is still 2 up. There is also a Full Metal Alchemist character and if I'm not mistaken, a Homestuck one too. (I'm truly sorry for being so rude, but I'm getting a little fed up with this.) |

Well, if all characters based off of any other media's characters, how
come my character keeps getting deleted? She isn't based off of any
media's character at all, so... |

I have plenty of names and no one took any or them. But I wouldn't do
any thing like this to get in trouble or to get band.  Also, don't forget to vote in the Animation Source choice awards!  |

We've said this already guys, names are fine, we won't deactivate if
it's just the name. The problem is members taking officially
copyrighted characters as a whole and trying to claim them as their
own. |

As for the Hetalia and other rip offs, I myself am NOT familiar with all the names, and I'm sure other mods are the same. So that's the only reason I can think of why they might still be up. If you know for sure it's the Official character, REPORT IT.
