To help promote its upcoming animated feature film, Disney has released an online flash version of "Fix-it Felix", the game centered around its 52nd animated feature "Wreck-It Ralph". The film will be released in theaters on November 2 this year, and centers around a video-game "Bad Guy" named Ralph who feels his job is underappreciated. The film also cameos video game characters from other franchises such as Mario and Sonic.

The full-length trailer, which debuted in front of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, can be seen below.
A short film, "Paperman", will precede the film during its theatrical run. It has also been announced that a tie-in video game will be released on all Nintendo consels, and Ralph himself will appear in the newest Sonic game: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. It's possible Ralph will appear in future video game releases, but that is as of right now unconfirmed.

It's possible Draco. I couldn't say for certain. Though I grew up
with Donkey Kong. Used to play it in convenience stores and arcades
with my friends and other teenagers and kids. That and the other
classic upright coin-op arcade games of the 80s.MAN, I miss those times. |

JC--> I noticed that too, but I think it's supposed to be similar,
like a sort of tribute maybe? Nice to think about at least Lol. As for
the movie, I really want to see it, it looks good. |

Now, I haven't played this game, and I really don't know whether or
not I am going to bother seeing this movie (minimal interest at this
time). But the game looks like a cheap knock-off of classic arcade
games like Donkey Kong, Popeye, Rampage and so on. |

As both a major game and animated movie fan, I'm putting this one on
my "must see" list. I can't help it, I'm a gamer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

I think a news about an animated movie is fine for AS. xD Generally it'd be suited for AS only and not the other sources, but no one even visits AS itself soooo ... I'm really not very interested in the movie though. D: I'll probably have a look when it comes on Sky Movies, maaaaybe rent it when it comes out on DVD if I'm bored and there's no other movies for the "4 for 4 nights" deal. The game is amusing though. xD They did pretty well making it just like an old school arcade game. |

I saw the tralier for this film and got the app for the game and it
actually seems pretty cool. I would very much like to see this film. |

Adding more to this news IS a good idea. I have added more, and if you
feel anything else needs mentioned, I can add that as well. |
