It is a beautiful written movie as well as reffering towards the book itself. Being a horror movie person myself, i wouldn't think it would be at all scary as a Paranormal Activity, or even Saw kind of style. Its wonderfully told without having the use of any blood or gore, and if you are the type of person who enjoys a good older ghost story, then i would definitely recommend this for you. I was a little uneasy towards it myself, but i was glad i went to see it, if not then i would surely read the novel.
