Tobizaru is a Japanese Macaque, follower of Shogun, who had saved him from dogs a long time ago, gaining Tobizaru's loyality. He tried to take Pepe as food for Shogun but is challenged by Weed, Jerome and Gozaru. Tobizaru cheats and takes Pepe with him. When Yukimura and Weed's groups are fighting against Shogun, he takes the Baboon's axe and, when Shogun is hanging down a cliff, he goes to give it to his leader, only to try to hit him instead. Shogun unfortunately knew that Tobizaru was now on the dogs' side and hits Tobizaru with the axe. Tobizaru holds onto the axe, trying to make Shogun let go of it. He is successful and is forgiven by the other monkeys. When Shogun could not hold on it anymore, Tobizaru falls down the cliff, dying, but taking Shogun's main weapon with him.
