Name: Rosso

Breed: Spanish Mastiff

Sex: Male

Age: 7

Size: 32 inches at the shoulder, 137 pounds.

Relation to Ginga universe: Leads a large dog pack and actively tries to take over Ohu. A crafty enemy.

A fan character from my fan comic, Summer Fangs.

Personality: Cold and calculating, Rosso is ruthless in whatever task he applies himself to. A survivor by nature, he is tough, and faces life head-on. He is adept at seeing the big picture, and at using the resources he has at his disposal in the most advantageous way possible.

BIO

Rosso used to be a star at bull-baiting, but when what was shut down due to the Spanish equivalent of animal welfare or the Humane Society, his owners didn’t quite know what to do. He couldn’t really be rescued or adopted, as he was much too aggressive for that, and his owners loved him too much to have him put down.
When they learned that dogfights are still practiced in (some parts of) Japan, they figured they could ship him there to continue with his fights.

But when Rosso arrived in Japan and was put in the ring for the first time, things didn’t go according to plan. After fighting bulls all his life, having a dog as his opponent seemed like either a bad joke or an insult to him (most likely an insult). He then decided to finally take control of his own fate and escaped into the wild.

Strengths: As well as his huge size, Rosso is a clever strategist, who thoroughly plans out his moves beforehand. He is an experienced fighter, and much faster(in bursts) than his physical presence would suggest.

Weaknesses: Not as young as he used to be, at the equivalent of 50 in dog years. He doesn't have as much stamina as a younger animal, and some of his joints act up a little from time to time.
