Shuuga was a japanese Wolf and he was one of the Eight Canine Warriors of Sirius and Reima's minion. He mastered the  Shu Tosso Battouga.

Shuuga was a very sadistic dog who killed and impaled around the place where he lived his opponents. Noroi ripped off one of his paws as a puppy and sharpened the bone to make his Battouga more powerful. Gin, Kurotora and Akame met up with him in the forest bamboo where Shuuga lives. The wolf challenges Akame and taunts him but in the end, Akame is able to turn the fight in his favor. To avoid the humiliation of being defeated. Shuuga commits suicide and impales himself onto one of the bamboo sticks.
