Chako is the half sister of Koyuki and Kotetsu.

Chako and her owner were riding by car when they rescued Sasuke and brought him back to Ohu. Sasuke had a crush on her and lied, saying that he was one of the Officiers of the Ohu Army. Back to their village, Chako and other dogs were forced to share their food with three nasty dogs once part of Hougen's Army. Chako had to deal with their leader attentions, since he too had a crush on her. Chako and Koyuki went to search Kotetsu when they heard the three dogs wanted to kill him for his dream of joining the Ohu dogs. Chako was also pursued by one of the three dogs but was saved by Weed. She met Sasuke again other times but she got to know that he had lied to her and got upset.

Chako is not seen furthermore in the manga but is supposedly alive.
