The leader of a pack of 200 dogs and a minion of Hougen, Kamakiri is a very power hungry and cruel dog, he killed Hiro's father, Yukima and blinded one of Hiro's eyes. Kamakiri joined Hougen's army and is probably his strongest ally, considering that he has 200 dogs who follow him and that he knows could be even stronger than Hougen's whole army. He tried many times to kill Weed but fails every time. He is the one responsable for the death of Toube, by damaging his skull and leaving him to froze to death. Kamakiri was finally stopped by Hiro, who rips off his testicles and fangs. Kamakiri, humiliates and inoffensive is left to die alone.

In GDW sequel, GDW:O, Kamakiri was revealed to have had a mate whom gave him three sons: Akakamakiri, Kamajirou and Kurokamakiri. They are some of the antagonists in this sequel.
