Kirikaze is one of the Iga dogs. He pretends to be dead by hiding in the ground in hope of learning new information from the new pack by their territory. Smith gets dragged into the secret passage way by Kirikaze and is brought into the Iga house. Kirikaze lets the water into the passage way tunnel to prevent any followers into the Iga house. When the Koga dogs attack he tells Hayato to be brave like his brother Tsukikage and to run the Koga into the spike trap. Later on he goes with Jinnai, Akame and Gin to fetch medicine for the poisoned Ou pack, especially for Ben. The Kogas show up and Akame orders them to get the medicine to the pack. This kills Kirikaze inside who doesn't want to abandon his master, but Jinnai assures him he must follow his orders no matter how tough they may be. He later gets killed by Madara after retaliating from the bear attacking and killing his brother Jinnai.

In the anime he is recognizable by white dots over his eyes.
