Kyoushiro is a one year old Kishu Inu that has a pack of 50 young dogs. As a puppy his parents abused him. He gained followers who were mistreated by their parents and acted as an adult figure for them. Rocket tells Weed he would make a good alliance so the Ou pack travelled the Southern Alps in order to get to Shiga where Kyoushiro's territory was at. When Kyoushiro heard Teru whimpering in fear, he came to the rescue and tore off Teru's father's ear. Weed shows up with his group and tries to stop the fight but Kyoushiro tells him to get out of his business and has his group throw Teru's father into a river for punishment.

Weed leaves in the night and finds Kyoushiro. He tells him he is disappointed in how Kyoushiro tries to solve issues with violence and that he feels stupid that he would want Kyoushiro to join his pack. Weed and Kyoushiro are evenly paired. Kyoushiro knocks Weed down when he digs a grave throwing rocks at his face. Just as Kyoushiro is about to kill Weed, Weed evades the attack with his remaning energy. The fight is put on hold when they hear screaming and find their two men injured by the assassins. Kyoushiro talks with Weed as their packs search for the assassins. Kyoushiro must have taken some of Weed's advice because he acts as a loving parent and plays with Teru in the snow. When he and Weed aren't looking, Teru is attacked and held hostage by Lecter and Thunder. They threaten to kill Teru if anyone attacks them. Kyoushiro says they can kill Teru, that he is a brave dog and Teru accepts. He then offers the assassins to attack him by laying on his back in order to save Teru.

The assasins drop Teru and fight Weed since he's says he's the leader of Ou. Kyoushiro fights Lecter while Weed fights Thunder. He gains two scars above his muzzle and one on his left cheek that runs vertically through two horizontal scars. When Teru's father stands up for his son and attacks the assassin's he previously sided with, Kyoushiro throws Teru to his father to forgive him since he is dying. He later joins Weed along with his 50 young men. His heart had been moved by Weed.
