Couldn't that have been a formal thing to say? O.o you know, when I meet a dog that I don't know, I don't usually flip the dog upside down to see if it's a male or a female and, before asking the owner, I say "Hello boy", even if after I am told that it's a female

For a personal project, I've been searching around and I could never find a specific gender for this horse, unlike for Sitron, it was really never specified if it was a male or a female, I guess it wasn't relevant...

Anna's horse is a male. When it runs back to Arendelle Hans says "easy, boy." so there you got the gender.
