History: Amos Slade was out one day with Cheif and Copper, a few days after he had brought hope Copper searching for furs. Cheif having found a dead female fox what seeming to have been attacked by another animal barked to his owner. Amos lifted up the fox inspecting her pelt to see if it could still be sold, what he wasn't expecting to find was a small fox kit under her. The kit squirmed a little and opened her eyes but made no more movement then that. Looking up at Amos and Cheif, Amos decided the kit was to small to kill for the pelt so he decided the to take in the kit and raise it till it was big enough to kill.

Soon though when Melody started walking she followed Amos and Cheif everywhere, and playing with Copper all the time. Melody soon started to think she was a hunting dog and would try to bark and hunt things while she also worked on protecting the chicken coop. Amos at first was antsy but when he noticed the fox protecting the chickens from the neighbors fox he started feeling more attached to the little fox. As seasons changed Melody became fully grown and instead of being killed ended up with a collar of her own.
