Crush/Crushers: Tiffany (former lover), Lyle (crush)

Personality: Dana takes a lot after her biological parents, probably more than she knows. She tends to be a very stubborn girl, and doesn't back down from an argument, willing to argue as long as it takes to prove her point, even if she's wrong. Despite this making her strong-willed, it causes her to hold onto grudges, and it's hard to convince her of something otherwise. This stubbornness can often lead to her doing anything to prove herself right, and paired with her hot-head attitude, this makes her especially reckless. Her selflessness and protective nature for her family can cause her to take risks she shouldn't in order to keep them safe, as nothing matters more to her than them, and she can end up putting her life on the line for them. Even if she does take unnecessary risks, she can still be somewhat sensible at times, and does try her best to make the smartest decisions. She's a very loyal and devoted dog, and will stand by her family and friends for as long as she possibly can. She's been taught to protect and defend with her life, and this translates well into her personality, as she's willing to do anything she can for those that matter, however this often leads to her getting in trouble.

History: Dana was born to Cash, Dixie, and Agnetha as they were traveling with their band, along with her littermates Bone and Bella. Lyle Snodgrass knew he couldn't keep all the pups, and so elected to adopt them off when they were old enough. Dixie managed to convince him to keep Bella, however Dana and Bone were set up for adoption as soon as they were old enough. Dana had a very close relationship with her brother and some of Granny Rose's pups before they were adopted, and enjoyed playing with them, however Bella was often excluded from their playtime by Dixie, and so she grew no attachment towards her sister. When Dana and Bone were old enough, Dana was adopted by a farmer to protect his farm, while Bone was adopted by a hunter who happened to live nearby.
Growing up on the farm, and with her parents traveling all the time, she eventually grew distant from them, and even began to resent them for keeping Bella and not Bone and her. She was quick to find out that Bone lived nearby, and began to visit her brother once a week, the two continuing their strong relationship. As she aged and grew, she was taught to be a guard dog to protect the farm, and easily fell into the role, keeping out wild animals that could harm their livestock. She also grew accustomed to the cats in the barn, and became friends with many of them, as well as becoming acquainted with neighborhood dogs. Through this, she met Tiffany, a hunting dog who lived nearby, and the two became friends before something more brewed. After asking Tiffany out, Dana and Tiffany became girlfriends, however they eventually broke up. Each year when the fair came to town, Dana was brought by her owner to visit, though she didn't exactly want to see her family very much, as she felt they had forgotten her, and because she had grown detached from them.
When she was two years old, she learned that two of their cats had been killed on the farm, leaving behind a newborn kitten. Dana quickly took him in, and named him Snuggles, and raised him as her son. When he grew older, he requested to help protect the barn, and though she was reluctant at first, she agreed, and trained him to help keep the barn safe against wild animals. It was when she visited the fair at two years old that she gained a companion. Lyle, one of Granny Rose's pups, asked to come live with her. Though reluctant at first, Dana finally agreed, and he began living at the farm, where she trained him to protect the animals. Over time, the two grew closer, and eventually became mates, producing pups of their own.
