It is a natural part of life and one that causes suffering. The best way to resolve it is to find new friends, ones that can better fill the gap. Besides, you may not lose all of them. I'm sure they can still continue to be your friend but to a lesser degree.

Forgive them. Although you may not like it, it is necessary in order to for the wounds to begin healing. If you can rebuild your friendship afterwards, then it is a friendship worth keeping. If not, then it is not to be. In life, only true friendship will last a lifetime; anything short of it will fade in time.

Then the handful that are still dedicated will be the new strong players. Unfortunately, it takes time to build your strength up so your alliance will have to remain weak for the time being. But hey, that's why the old saying goes, "what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger." Don't worry, rebuilding the alliance will only make it better as the dedicated will then be on the top.

Ah yes, betrayal. I'm curious to know what game this is though since I know quite a lot of influential games that have caused conflicts in the real world. Interestingly enough, I don't view this at all stupid. Games can be very influential as it can simulate and teach us valuable lessons. In your case, they were dedication, cooperation, and trust. Unfortunately, betrayal is also a simulation for real life and one not too pleasant. I feel deeply sorry for you but you must know that betrayal's sting does not last forever. Over time, your alliance will build up again and when it does, I'm sure you can forgive them afterwards. If you can't leave the alliance, it means that you put enough time and hard work in it to not be able to let it disappear from your life. Again, healing comes with time and I'm sure happiness for your dedication will one day return... or you will get bored of the game, whichever one comes first. hahaha

I'm certain I can handle it. As long as it can relieve you of some of the pain, I can bear its weight.

I am truly sorry if I caused you to lose that little shred of peace. Philosophy is never easy to stomach as it continually redefines what you believe in. The main point, though, is that philosophy is based primarily on assumptions, not facts. Therefore, your beliefs can be more correct than mine but because the evidence that backs it all up is shaky, we can never be certain. If it makes you feel any better, you can always share your sorrows with me; I don't mind.

Part of you is based on ethics and reason and their eternal struggle with one another. It is why your personality can change so much in so little time. Once you do know who you are, your ethics and reasoning should finally settle what they argue about and you become stable. If you decide that what you usually do is not pleasing to you then it means one of them, either reason or ethics, finally decides to change to the point where they disagree on something again. You have, thereby, not found who you are yet.

How so? I feel as if you do figure out who you are (and soul-searching is an awful long process by which we mostly figure out our true self near the end of life), all choices can be made by that context. If you can't decide then you are still judging yourself by what others perceive of you.

Discovering who you are is, as your quote suggests, "a journey with a destination." For you and basically all of us, we are still in the journey phase of discovering who we really are. Our personalities can change with the flow of time but that which defines us is what sticks in the end. Just keep living life and you'll figure it out eventualy. As for your profile, that's more of your current personality than who you actually are which explains why it can change over time.

Yea but it should be in your own context. If you like how your profile looks, it means that the profile is representing your personality the best and thus it is why you like it.

Ah, the bittersweetness of life. At least you can always reminisce with your old friends and any new friends you make will be just as enjoyable... hopefully. hahaha

It's your profile and your design. Doubt should rest on whether you like it or not, not what others think of it. Personally, if you ever want to learn something about somebody, actual conversation is better than reading a profile anyways.

hahaha, good to hear you're enjoying life right now. For me, I've been busy since my college classes are ending and as usual they cram as much stuff down our throats before it does end. hahaha, but I've enjoyed my time with all my classmates and professors so I can't complain much.
