OBLIGATORY HEADCANONS/DESIGN NOTES
------------------------------------------------------
Patch: a snotnosed little punk with a short temper but a good sense of justice. he's the kid who swears and makes lewd jokes when grown-ups aren't around. i prefer him with two black ears and an attitude instead of what the sequel gave us; what happened to that growly, bickery little upstart and who is this mopey little nihilist?
Lucky: a short-sighted but well-meaning kids who's undergone his fair share of adversity. he's the one who almost died at birth, and his parents swear the early brush with death made him so fearless. the horseshoe is still there, but now he's also got dark circles because you're not the boss of me
The Cadpig (never forget the "The"): a paranoid, hedonistic, mostly-gentle mostly-pacifist who loves psychobabble. if she wasn't so much fun to hang out with, the other puppies might be a little scared of her what with her scathing wit and pointy little teeth. she has the sparsest spots, smallest frame, and biggest ears out of everybody
Roly Poly (just "Poly" if you're not family): a gentle, sympathetic kinda guy who's future wife will definitely describe him as a "teddy bear" at some point. sure he loves to eat, but he also loves to learn new useless trivia to share with his buddies. he's the biggest of the puppies, and not just in weight; he's taller and longer then any of his biological or adopted siblings
Penelope ("Penny" for short): a hyperfeminine daddy's girl with a gentle heart and a killer left hook. she loves ribbons, all that glitters, and scary stories told in the dark, and it's all the better for her if she can find a way to combine them all. she's one of very few puppies born with a patch, having had her black ear from birth
