Name: Bessie

Nickname: Cowgirl

Age: Two months

Gender: Female

Mother: Bessie and her brothers and sisters spent their first eight weeks in a pet store window with their birth mother. When Horace and Jasper bought them all at once for Cruella’s coat, they never saw her again, so Perdy is now their adoptive mother.

Father: Bessie never knew her father, so Pongo is now her adoptive dad.

Siblings:  His adoptive siblings are the other ninety three Dalmatians, like Lucky, Roly, Cadpig, Patch and Dipstick for example. But his original litter is made up of Splatter, Scruff, Chip, Pox and Magnifique (Maggy).

Breed: Dalmatian, what do you think?

Mate: None. Simply too young.

Crush: Roly.

Friends: All of the farm animals who aided the 101 Dalmatians on their way home from the De Vil Manor—especially the cows. Her 93 other adoptive siblings. Brittanique the Poodle and Grumble the Sheepdog.

Personality:  Bessie is a sleepy, lazy, calm dog who hardly lets anything surprise her. The biggest reaction you might get from her is a raised eyebrow. Her hobbies include eating and sleeping. If it has anything to do with running, count the Cowgirl out. She has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor when she talks at all. If she is angry or insulted, she can be very cutting with her tongue! She keeps most thoughts to herself, and is very mature in that way. If she and her litter weren’t all the same age, she’d be taken for the oldest. She has poor manners, and is rather un-ladylike. She mostly sits and listens—if she doesn’t fall asleep—to Chip’s long rants or lectures in her spare time.

Likes: Sleeping, eating, having naughty belching contests with Roly, and warm places.

Dislikes: Being moved or woken when she is asleep, having to run, being hungry.

History:

The first eight weeks of her life, Bessie spent her time with her five siblings and mother in Percy’s Pets in London. Horace and Jasper (Cruella’s evil henchmen) were sent to Percy’s Pets to collect Dalmatian puppies for their mistress’s coat. They were taken to Cruella De Vil’s old mansion where ninety-three more puppies were being held. All of the puppies were in danger of being skinned for the mad lady’s precious coat, but luckily, and with a bit of help from local farm animals, one of the Dalmatian litter’s parents came and rescued them, taking all of the orphaned, kidnapped or bought pups home to the Radcliffe’s apartment and adopting them. This included a very happy Bessie and her siblings.

Relation to 101 Dalmatians: Bessie is one of the 101 Dalmatians and so are her three brothers and two sisters.
