Personality: Rover is pretty much the opposite of his sister, Frisky. He is sensible and mature, but he still has time for a little fun. He always thinks before he acts but still ends up in trouble a lot, because of Frisky dragging him into her adventures unwillingly. Rover also has a lot of fears, but mainly fears for his own safety. He always thinks logically, and hates to be wrong. He is also a bit of a flirt.
Likes: Relaxing, having fun, playing, being right, flirting, females, having something to occupy his mind
Dislikes: Frisky dragging him into her adventures, being in danger, being wrong, making mistakes, being called boring
History: On a trip to London, Jim Dear and Darling became friends with the Dearlys, and their dogs shared the bond. Because they lived so far apart, they made an effort to travel to visit every once in a while, and always kept in contact.
On their first visit to London, Danielle and Patch met, and immediately had a connection, along with Annette and Tripod and Colette and Rolly, and on one of the later meetings, one of the Dearlys trips to America, she became pregnant. A few months later, Rover and his sister, Frisky were born. The Dearly’s decided to leave Patch behind with Danielle, but the pair and their pups always tag along on the London trips.
Rover grew up with Jim Dear and Darling, having fun with Frisky and the neighbourhood dogs, but he was always more mature and sensible than other pups his age. He wasn’t as playful but still enjoyed having a good time.
