History: 

The only surviving cub of his litter, Otaktay and his mother lived together for three years until the young bear was forced to leave his mother due to her death from old age. Otaktay had never lived in a clan, he and his mother had always been nomads and so life on his own was not difficult for him.

The years went by quickly and Otaktay grew up into a huge male grizzly bear. In all those years he had learned to fight, to be respected. His left eye was sacrificed for love: one day during Spring, screams of fear got Otaktay's attention. Someone was yelling its own lungs out, so the male bear sprinted towards the screams to discover that they came from a female Grizzly bear intent on escaping the clutches of two bossy young males. Otaktay get rid of the two easily, he was bigger and stronger, the younglings couldn't stand a chance against him. The female Grizzly thanked him saying that he has been sent by the Spirits for help. Otak never felt that fierce and satisfied but especially appreciated by someone who barely knew/saved. The male bear chuckled saying that he had to do that, for her safe! From that day one Otak and the she bear became a couple. He was a young adult, he had everything he wanted, Otaktay was having the best of his life. One night while his mate was sleeping, Otak couldn't sleep so he decided to step out from their den and started to hang around the forest. He went too far and he got lost. That never happened to Otak and that was the first time he was....scared. His fears though vanished when a female Kodiak bear found him....

The next day Otak found himself in his den. IMPOSSIBLE! How could have happened ? He shrugs his eyes confused and then looked down to his mate who was still sleeping. What happened the night before though?.... 

After nine months, Otak's mate gave birth to a cub. But at a price...His mate died. That was his punishment for what he had done months earlier. He knew that ..that has been just a dream! But he couldn't help but think that maybe...it hasn't been a dream at all..

He took his son and run away within the forest.
