Ciumento was a kermode bear, or spirit bear, and therefore was able to communicate with spirits more clearly than other bears. But Ciumento neglected this, and as a cub, never botherd to speak to any bear, or spirit. But he was picked on due to a lack of size. Later he would get very bullied by htis and he would try to attempt a fight. For multiple years, he lost the fights, until one day, a particulely big bear fought him. Of corse he lost, and the other bears thought he was banished from his group of bears, reciving a scar down his eye for his truoble . Now despite it was unusaul, since men fear them,  some foolish man had decided to take afew kermode bear pelts. Ciumento wanted to warn the other bears, however his eye had not healed, and he felt angry at the bears, and did not warn them. After afew hours though he felt mean and went to warn the other Kermode bears... But he was too late and the man had started killing the bears. Ciumento tried to recue the rest, but all but Ciumento were dead. He couldn't stand the memories, so left to find another group of Kermode bears. After he enconterd a hunters trap, he recied a scar on his back leg. Byt the time he woke up he had found more Kermode bears. The leader was called Akiak. Akiak seemed feirce, and Ciumento wanted to avoid him. However one night, Ciumento proved himself tougher than he was due to his time in the wild by fighting off another, stronger Kermode bear than normal. Akaik was impressed, and over time came to trust Ciumento, but now he started, he could not stop, and Ciumento got into more fights, some even with Akaik.

One night when he was a cub, Ciumento accidently ran into a female bear called Hannha, who was the complete contrast to Ciumentos personality, for she was soft sweet, shy and caring, nd she even made Ciumento wonder

" How can one be so kind?" And Ciumento even began to fall for her. Later however, an unfriendly experiance may cost Hannha's life, and Ciumentos only chance of love.
