I'm not sure, but it might be frozen liquid methane. Or a combination of chemicals.

Sure, but life can hypothetically arise in many different situations and chemicals. Just because life on OUR planet arose from a carbon-based foundation, and in an oxygen/nitrogen atmosphere (with liquid water as the base medium), doesn't mean it can't evolve elsewhere in different situations.

Actually, scientists agree that life has to be carbon based because that's what DNA is made up of. That's what they expect all life, on Earth or not, to be.

Dude, the scientists of our world are limited by what they can observe in OUR world. There is no DNA from any other space particle or anything else. So it is naturally limited. The truth is, scientists have only theories about what life is like beyond the reaches of our own PLANET. Which translates as "they don't know jack". And it's amazing, the arrogance of our kind, that we think we have even the slightest clue about what life may be like out there. We are going to surely be shocked and amazed by what we find out there, when the time comes. Of course, by then, we will most likely be pushing up daisies...

It is Ice but there is a core, we only know that liquid is there because it has no meterite damage, so when one hits the water fills back in.
Also One of Saturn's moons has methane rain on it all year round, but it's about the same amount that Desert vally gets so dont expect much

Did you honestly think Earth is the only planet with life on it? Im not a big alien geek who watches X files all day long, but i do think there has to be more forms of life in the universe. It's too big for just one planet to be inhabited by life. I think Europa might be too close though.
(Little off-topic info: Did you know scientists believe that some day in the future, we humans are going to use up all our resources and Earth is going to become too (for lack of a better word) Polluted for humans to survive on this planet anymore. So, thier searching for a planet that meets the basic needs of humans. In short, their searching for a planet similar to Earth to move to when we can no longer live on this one. Well, It's known that eventually our sun is going to run out of fuel and expand, destroying 4 of the planets in our solar system before becoming a red giant and either exploding into a Solar flare, or imploding into a black hole. So, that's the end of this galaxy. Course, none of this will happen in our life time.)

Yeah, so far Mars has met some aspectations, there was once water there so they have been trying to see if there is more, because of so then mars should be able to sustain life, but they are still looking at all the posiblilitys and to see what place is best.

Mars wouldn't work. From what i know, the planet's gravity would crush you as soon as you stepped onto it, and the air is toxic so it'd poison you. I think it's because there's too much carbon dioxide in the air. Besides, we'd have to resume the search again before our sun ran out of fuel, because once it runs out and expands, it's going to destry the 4 inner planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.

Hmm...interesting thoughts. I don't know if gravity is the problem on Mars though. It has been seriously considered for terraforming. And I am sure that at least ONE of the reasons NASA and other international space agencies are spending so much effort studying the planet is for those reasons (and to find more solid evidence of existing water, as opposed to what looks like just ancient river and lake beds, etc.). I think the problem is the matter of the weak and toxic atmosphere. Mars is suspected to have once had an atmosphere and environment similar to Earth, and that some ancient catastrophy struck the planet. Of course, that has not been conclusively proven. Whether or not there was advanced, sentient life there or not has never been proven, and I don't know if its even been serious speculated at. Or perhaps evidence of it has just never been revealed...
