There is a deadly mixture out there that is pleaguing the human race, and many other animals too. Dihydrogenmonoxide is deadly and kills many people per year. It is all around us and can be very harmfull.
EDIT: Yes it is a joke, I know perfectly when that Dihydrogen monoxide is infact H2O or water as it is most commonly referred to. I just wanted to see how many people could pick up on the chemical names for things that we sometimes take for granted.
PS: I like to keep the members on their toes heh heh heh...

Nice try, Mario. Dihydrogen Monoxide is commonly known as water.

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dihydrogen_monoxideI dont know if this thread is a joke or what...but until proven it is one, will not think it is...Water, H2O - the same stuff you drink everyday that over 70% of our body is made of -, is not deadly unless its salt water...then it will dehydrate you and possibly kill you. Water supports life...without it, you are condeming us to a painful death within 3 to 4 days of it being "banned" As stated before...not sure if this was a joke or what? Snopes on the research done: http://www.snopes.com/science/dhmo.aspQuote: Origins: In Ban me! 1997, Nathan Zohner, a 14-year-old student at Eagle Rock Junior High School in Idaho Falls, based his science fair project on a report similar to the one reproduced above. Zohner's project, titled "How Gullible Are We?", involved presenting this report about "the dangers of dihyrogen monoxide" to fifty ninth-grade students and asking them what (if anything) should be done about the chemical. Forty-three students favored banning it, six were undecided, and only one correctly recognized that 'dihydrogen monoxide' is actually H2O — plain old water.
I hope it was a joke Mario, coz if not im going to kick your A** lol^^ just kidding by the way^^
