Post subject: Draw the wolf contest! *I have decided on prizes!!!*  Posted: Sun Oct 08, 2006 10:34 pm |

Draw the wolf featured in the paragraph below (she can be doing anything anywhere at any age; you don't have to draw her as she is there.). What do you think she looks like? Also, include her name, history and anything else you think would be worth adding. I will start thinking about prizes.
The wolf lay in the cold snow and watched the rest her new pack. The omaga male and the pups had convinced the rest of them to play tag. Snow flew as the wolves raced around, having a good time. One of the wolves stopped as he noticed the loner. A gentle whine invited her to come and join them. She turned her head away. She had no desire to join in such frollic. It was stupid; nobody could win at tag, the game ended when everyone got too tired to play anymore. Besides, she didn't think she could ever play again. Haunting memories prevented her from living a normal life. She lifted her muzzle to the stars and let loose a mournful howl. The other wolves stopped and looked at her sorrowfully. She looked up abruptly and darted off into the woods, hot tears streaming down her face. They could never know...
Ooh, I hope somebody enters!!!!!!! 
*EDIT* Here are the prizes:
First place: I will draw one of your characters as a movie character of your choice! (Color picture!)
Second place: A picture of your character and the wolf you drew! (not in color.)
If enough people join, I will make a third prize and extend the deadline.

I'll give it a try.
Name- Amaris
Meaning- Child of the Moon
Rank- Alpha Female
Breed- Wolf
Color- White with emerald gree eyes.
Age- 4 yrs.old(human years)
Sex- Female
History- She lived with the Northern Forest Pack in Canada. One day campers forgot to put out their fire. The fire quickly spread throught the Northern Forest. The fire was uncontrollable, the pack's fate was sealed. Amaris lost everything her mate, her first litter of pups, everyone she ever loved. Amaris was the only one to surive from her pack, the fire left her with scars physically(the pink spots) and emotionally. Amaris left the Northern Forest and headed towards Alaska. She doesn't know why she's going there only to get away from her troubled past. Will she find happyness? Will she find love? What is Amaris's destiny?
(I feel like writing a fanfic about Amaris).

Oh, I never mentioned when the contest ends! It ends October 18th (if I can get around to it! I will try!!!).
