To make animations you need speacial programs, like photoshop but since a lot of people don't have photoshop or any other program that can make animations, ounce again here is the gimp, you can download it permanently here ounce you have the gimp installed to must get gimp animation package installed to be able to make animations.

---Please note that gimp-gap (Gimp.Animation.Package) 2.2.1 requires gimp 2.2 and glib 2.8 or higher. It is recommended to use gtk+ 2.8.

for more data about gimp visit the following pages, here for mac, here for windows.

set to go, now it is very easy.

1. Open gimp, go to "file" on top of the screen and from the tab menu choose "open" a menu to your pictures should appear.

2. When the menu appears simply look for the pic you want to start your animation.

3. Click on gradient tool, (the lil shaded box in green) and that tool options should appear.

4. Now from the tool options choose the little < shaped thing on top right click on it, a menu should appear choose from it choose add tab, then another little menu should appear from there choose "layers" must look like this.

5. Now click the layer tab you added (don't worry it will appear right after clicking on the layer thing from step four)

6. From the image "menu" choose "file" open as layer, the other menu should appear the just choose the next image you want to have in your animation, then just keep on opening that tab choosing pic after pic, when you have all your layers it time to animate.

7. Yay now that you have your layes choose the order they will go, and simply drag them to the place you want them to be, finally choose the speed they will be in, *warning speed is allways in milliseconds not seconds* to give them the seep you want them to be in click on the tittle of the layer there type the number of milliseconds you want it to have make sure to add the "ms" right after # of milliseconds it's in otherways it won't work! should be like (500ms) for example.

8. Almoast there, on the image menu click on "file" then "save as" a new box will apear do the following.

9.make sure you change jpg or whateve is there to gif, then this box will appear choose export, the another will appear it will have for options with circle like choices, one will say "flatten image" the other will say "save as animations" choose the second one,

10. Finally a lat box will appear with choices, ignore most of them exept for the chice that says "loop forever" (it means thst the animation keeps playing time after time) that if of choice maybe you just want it to play ounce then don't check it, maybe you want it to play forever then you choose it then the moment you've been waiting for click "ok" at the right bottom and your animation is done!

here's mine by the way Image
