I learned by looking at pictures/scrren caps of TLK and drawing them. Once you get good at that, you could try doing the same poses without using the pictures. If you cando that, try to extend the poses and add some background, maybe add some speical features to you lion/lioness.

but...that's just how I learned.

well just practice can teach you...i have learnt to draw real lions and lk lions by hand -i dont have photoshop

Well, learning and practicing is really the only way to do it i think. Cuase yo can't just trace. I'm learning how to draw foxes right now...hehe.
