Hello, Rusty here! I have another book I would like to talk about!

Today's book is Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause.

Age Warning: Teen
It does say teen, which is 13+, but I would recommend this book to 15+ audiences.

Rusty's Summery (based on the back of the book)

The book is about the teen, Vivian Gandillon, who wishes that she could live her life without fear of what humans would do if they were to know what she has to hide. Her secret? She, like the rest of her pack, is a werewolf.

The pack is in disarray. The unforgettable events that happened a year ago have left the pack leaderless. Fights and disagreements have broken out on who will lead the pack and what they decide to do... keep the pack here in the city or move the pack away from humans.

When Vivian falls in love with a human, Aiden, she is welcome to a side of relief from the squabbling pack. Aiden is fascinated by magic, so surely he would understand if Vivian revealed her secret to him.

When things seem to be going smoothly, a brutal murder threatens to expose the pack. Vivian's divided loyalties are strained further. It seems she isn't part of either world. What is she really - human or beast? Which tastes sweeter - blood or chocolate?

---------------------------------------------------

Who has read this book?

I'm still somewhat in the middle to beginning of the book, so be courteous to me and others who haven't read the book and keep spoilers to the very minimum.

Here's a nice NOTE!

Blood and Chocolate is being made into a movie that is said to be in theaters on January 26, 2007 (by Wiki)

Blood and Chocolate (film)

I have found a nice one sheet for the movie. This isn't the official poster that will be used... but a "test" poster if you will.

Sorry for double posting...

Are there any takers?

20 views and no other posts? Is there really such a great number of people who haven't read this great book?

I've never heard of it. And I don't think I would read it anyway. The cover is a little too...explicit for my tastes.

I never heard of it either. That is, until I picked it from a selection of books that my high school provided for a project. I'm glad I picked it, too!

It's just a cover, so don't judge the book by it... but then again, sometimes a cover is all you need.

The book is written for young adults and teens so there isn't anything too explicit and hardly anything that is disgusting or awful. It really depends on how good your tolerance is to that kind stuff.
