Well I was sitting in my geo class looking stuff up on the Canadian map when I looked over at Alaska.I looked at all the places and was surprised to find a place called Kaltag.I'm like wow thats like Keltag the dog on Balto.
I heard a few people here on the boards talking about it and thinking Kaltag was a dog on Balto's real team.
I was surprised by this news.Anyone else have anything to say?

Actually, while Kaltag and the Kaltag Portage are real places, Kaltag the dog is just a fictional cartoon character.

The names of the five remaining dogs from his team are not recorded in the historical record...at least, not that I've ever found. And I've looked at every historical resource that's easy to find...and even some not-so-easy ones.

No no I meant I HEARD people talking about thinking Kaltag was a real dog on the real team.I did'nt think that.

Its just I think thats where they got the name for him.

Kaltag is a Balto character,that at first is loyal to Steele.

Yep I knew that its just I wanted to tell everybody of the simalar names.
