Who here likes to sing? Who here has been TOLD they have a good voice? Anyone who's had actual voice lessons, if you could post a little tidbit about it here that would be cool. I think it would be cool if like all the people who could sing could record themselves (I don't know exactly how you would send them. . .lol) and let the others review it and kind of discuss what they like and don't like or whatever. I like to sing but I've never had any actual voice lessons. I have good control on my voice though (not to brag or anything I'm only saying what I'm pretty sure are facts and not opinion) it's kind of been a subconcious hobby of mine for years and I really want to take lessons. But yeah anyway. Feel free to say what you think you can do, I won't consider it bragging.

Well yesterday I went for a major hunt for the microphone but a no go. I'm always singing, usually High School Musical songs. But I really can't do high notes, so I usually stick to slow songs.

I can sing good when I'm by myself like in my room or the shower or something, or if theres really loud music playing..but when I even try to sing good infront of people I cant! xD..iunno why it's probably because I'm shy..xD but I've been told I have a good voice by lots of people..o.0

Same here. I can sing pretty well when I'm alone, but whenever I'm in front of someone, I just can't do it.
My friend used to tell me that I had a good singing voice despite how low my voice normally is. I could try recording something later.

Sometimes I sing along with the radio in the car when go out somewhere.

when I tried recording something on my computer it just sounded like...a 3 year old o.0...and I kinda sound like u do on those video things..Iunno I have to make one sometime..xD

I dont really sing infront of people. Its just not for me. I do enjoy singing though. I know people have said "Awww! You have such a pretty voice, Jack!" And I am just like... "...0.0"

I dont believe people when they tell me things, so I just dont sing for people. I have never had lessons, but last year I was in choir. That was okay, but the outfits we had to wear made you wanna run. XD

I dont think I have all that great of a voice, but its best in the Shower. ;D I love to sing in the shower. Just stupid little songs, normally I make them up as I go. XD

I haven't really sang in the shower of anything for a loooong time. I just have no reason to. I havent been happy enough to even feel like it. It didnt really hit me til I looked at this topic.

But yeah.... I do like to sing, but only when I am happy enough. Obviously, that isnt now.

And on another note, I perfer to work on my voice acting anyways now a days. I feel better trying out that stuff, insted of singing. And I am better at doing it around people. ^^

I do sing actually and I have been told by my friends that i'm really good at it.I don't attend any singing lessons at all sadly but I tend to sing to myself alot and so I can get a little better on my own.When I sing I do have a problem with singing infront of others but I have found out some ways to get over that fear and sing infront of people

I made honor choir at my school and i think its ok to be in honor choir.

I do sing.I have been in an honor choir for my school region.I hated being in that choir!I had no friends when everyone else had them.I was so embaressed for about an hour cuz everyone else had done this before and I had'nt.They were all saying,"ya I got aked to come here last year but I was so bored so I did'nt go but I came this year."But I did get through it.I have sang solo in front of my school but that was only for a few seconds.My teachers kept saying I can't believe she sings like that since I'm so shy.I might be able to send in a voice thingy.

I love to sing, but it's not like I'm going professional or anything. That's a funny thought. I'm so shy, I would never be able to make it out there with the tabloids and everything! But I have been told by a friend that I could be a professional singer. That's a really neat compliment, especially from a peer, but I think I'm just going to stick to singing in my room, or in the car along with the radio, and yes, in the shower. I've got a really high voice. I'm a soprano, but when I have to sing in front of people (like in choir) I sing alto because my throat closes up with nerves, and I can't sing high notes in front of other people! You know, I think the reason that a lot of people are shy about singing is because a lot of the not-so-shy people (not all, but...a lot) sing, and some of them don't have very good voices! It's unfair. But that's just me.
