Maybe, by nineteen years old, you should be PAST the point of wanting to do stuff wrong that would offend your parents and other sensible adults, huh? That's what being made an "adult" (at 18 years of age) means.

I don't mean to sound offensive, and maybe you just made a mistake that isn't worth your parents' response (it might help if you indicated what your mistake was). However, too many teenagers at 19 still act so idiotic that they don't DESERVE to be called "adults". And at 19, they should start acting like it.

You're nineteen (Mystical)...there's a fundamental difference.

Of course...they're trying to be good parents. Teenagers don't always understand that until they're into their mid twenties, and out of the emotionally-turbulent age of adolescence...where they usually think their parents are just wrong and unfair, and that THEY are always right.

I'm 14, and I dont live with either of my parents but my mom isn't like that..she doesn't ground us..she had to call Marymound on us before when we went psycho..that's why I dont live with her..and I dont want to..xD but my sister is 18 almost 19 (December 16) and she's really immature, now you know where I get it from..xD my mom wouldn't kick her out unless she had somewhere to go, tho..I wish I could get my own house..but I have to wait atleast until I go back to school, graduate and get a job..xD

I'm an adult, so nowadays, I usually do. But when we argue, it isn't even close to the reasons we disagreed when I was a teenager. And, like most teenagers, I often felt they were being unfair, or were just plain wrong, and that I was right. And I often sulked and became bitterly angry when they laid down the law. But quite often, I was the one who was wrong or unreasonable.

And yet, while I'm not implying this of you, I NEVER did drugs, NEVER broke the law, and only drank with my friends once in a while, and only when I was an older teenager. (Well, I guess I broke one law. )
