- First, a message to the current fanart mods.

When you're making a miniature picture : watch out the size!!! I had never paid attention to this before, but some miniatures pictures are more than 30Kb EACH!!! This is way too much, don't forget many people don't have broadband connections, and 30Kb requires at least 8 seconds to be downloaded with a 56K connection. The thing to do is simply compress them more, when you choose JPG compression you should be able to change the compression ratio with the picture editor you use. They shouldn't be more than 4Kb each...

So, I would also like if someone could take the time to check and reduce the size of the big pictures like this. If you're not a fanart mod, I can make you one at the condition that you will be doing it. (I will check if the job is done!)

- Then, I need some serious people for making miniature pictures. For the fanarts, AND for the new fan images section. There's already someone who changes the miniatures when people request a change, but I would prefer taking a new person for the new galleries.

- Also, I've decided that there would be miniature pictures for the fan images galleries too. So, I would need someone to make one miniature for each current gallery on the site. (I'll show you a model)

- Finally, I think there aren't enough fanart mods currently, so I will also take a few more mods to check and update the galleries.





So, to summarize, I need :

- At least 1 person to check and reduce the miniatures size.
- At least 1 person whose job will consists in making miniatures for new galleries, AND ONLY THIS. (apart from the person who already change the miniatures by requests)
- At least 1 person to make ALL the fan images miniatures pictures for the current galleries.
- 1 or 2 more fan arts and fan images mods to check and update the galleries. (and make miniatures when you have the time for it)


Of course, you'll need to do your job for both Balto source and Lion king source.

I will decide who I will take. Although, you MUST give me a proof that you're able to make miniature pictures. Do one miniature picture for both the fanarts and the fan images, based on pictures from your galleries (for example)

Font : Verdana, name in the bottom-right corner under a white corner.

I would So Go For Being a Fan Art Mod.. Im on almost All the Time (except when I am Busy with School) But other then that Im On Quite Often

Well, the size is good, but is the font Verdana? And could you do the corner more, err how to say it, thin? not edged, but curved. If it is too difficult to reproduce this I may change this, but I think it looks better like this.

Also, one thing I forgot : the mods should know both the fanart and fan images rules.

I would like to try for this, because I am on this site lots as I have lots of free time, so I thought why not? well I know I'm not the...best member, but that's ok, if you don't want me to be a mod for any reason (i.e trust?) then that's ok

one question though, for the fanarts, are the pictures automatically turned black and white, or do we have to do it ourselves? I did it once, but totally forgot how..xD..well if you don't pick me I wont spaz out or anything...so..good luck I guess (Picking the right mods) thanks:)

Phantom White Wolf(TWP) -> The size isn't good.
balto~claw -> I can't see the picture.
Dakotah -> Not the right sizes, and yes you must do them black and white manually but only for the fanarts.
Jack~MayaHuskee -> These ones are ok, the name should be at the bottom though. And yes, I would rather that they don't exceed 4-5 Kb...
