Ok well it seems PS3 will be delayed in the the PAL terroties till March 7th, but it will still arive there, so some people told me that they will not deliver to thouse areas, but they were lies, the date for everwhere else is November 17th and here is the link:

And PS3 is shiping 6 million consuls to the north America and the Wii is only shiping 1 million, so for what was said before about only 500,000 Ps3 systems was also another lie^^ I am loving this,

I am so glad I looked at this, because well, it looks like PS3 was well bad mouthed alot and well judged without looking, and well I just am glad to saw and looked up info for myself so I know not to buy into it being dissed and other stuff.

Also im glad I read the Wii info for myself aswell, for many reasons, there are somethings I did not know about it, alot of advanteges and neet fetures, but also alot of downfalls that were said not to be true when they were, so YAY!! PS3 and the Wii both look like kick A** systems and I wish my luck to both because it seems like a good fight^^ and when I say fight I don't mean the systems or companies fighting to see what is better, just to see which will put up the biggest fight, in the end they both will be successfull^^

Apperently Sony's loyalty to Japan has given it an even higher advantege to sales, Japans loyalty is to Sony which is very awesome, and apperently a wicked game show or something shows more to it, here is the link:

Eplictica the news about the shipment for the PS3 was "NOT" a lie there is offical news. It hasn't have changed I have gotten at least 40 e-mails from google.com about the PS3 and the 360.

Upon reading Ecliptica's article on the number of PS3 systems Sony will release, I have this to say: You three may be right

Ecliptica, make sure you have you facts straight before you post something like this and watch what you say. Your article said that, "Sony still expects to ship 6 million units globally within fiscal year 2007." This means that within the time of November 11 (Japan release date), November 17 (USA release date), March 2007 (Europe release date), and the end of 2007 (Which is about a 13 month time space) Sony expects to sell a total of 6,000,000 globally. It never said that one area will get 6 million PS3 units!

That number of expected sold units is a large one, which is good, but Sony is still in a tight spot. Nintendo expects to sell 4 million units by the end of this year (2006) which is about a 2 to 2 1/2 month time space.

4,000,000 sold units in 2 to 2 1/2 months (Nintendo)
VS
6,000,000 sold units in 13 months (Sony)

Match the amount of time to sell with simple math and we get:

14,000,000 sold units in 13 months (Nintendo)
VS
6,000,000 sold units in 13 months (Sony)

Ah, how the publicity surrounds and anticipation feeds the rumors and truths. We all wait and wait. With the wait comes the tension. The common ground that all gamers used to share slowly separating.

They say that there is no such thing as bad publicity. I think it's true. The hot topic on everyone's mind....what is true about the seventh generation of gaming systems? What is just a bunch of guys arguing over penis size?

But what is there to argue anymore? This has been beaten to death. One place says one thing another place says their wrong. The fights and discrepencies feeding into the potential sales charts of these companies.

This is what they want. This is what they wait for. They sit in their big fancy offices counting the money, while we argue.

The world fights over stupid thigs that really don't matter in the end. I sit and wait for the eigth generation so that I can repeat this then.

All of that is old news which can already be found on this topic. It's doesn't even talk about the number of units of either company. Your link didn't help you.

Actually, I think that the link was a really good link. I like how the representatives presented their cases. Even though it was an older article, I think that most of the information is still relevant right now.

Although some of that information may be old news, it was still nice to read it all in one place, no flaming involved...just presenting the facts to take their stance on their respective game systems. Good lawyers they are.

It provided a great in depth ananlysis of the great features of all of the consoles instead of focusing of their competitors downfalls.

Thats only in Japan because Japan is only getting 100,000 units and the market there is starting to die. Sony has even stated that it just wont happen.

Also found this interesting..talks how sony is going to lose alot of money witht he price drop. not to mention...sony's stocks dropped 1.9 after there announcement.

He stated that 6,000,000 units to north amrica as opposed to 1 million with the wii, that was the official thought before a couple weeks go. Sony actualy first announced how they would get 6 mil. units out. Then announced otherwise. So I was flaming him on that little bit of old news. Since he also called us liers, you just don't do that....you can say soeone is wrong, but never say they lie.

Wii still gets their 1 milluion out..and Ps3 500,000...this is the truth, and he made this thread to annoy me..and failed.

It was going to be just Japan, but now its droping world wide, and 10 million will be sold in Japan due to the PS3 being the the top system in the biggest game show and System convention, they said after the show and everyone in japan looking and seeing all of its fetures and everything about it, they said it will out match the other two comediting systems, also there Loyalty to Sony is also another reason why there will be 10 million sold in Japan, ......

Another thing, remember all the stuff you were telling me through IM about Sony and why it's crappy? well they were all lies, funny, personaly I think so, but I should have been smart enough to look up this for myself^^

*Yawns* they all of there own prase worthy about them, like for instance the Wii remote, really cool, but one of the onlythings that cought peoples attention, PS3 for its Blu Rey being able to read blu rey discs that hold 50 gigs of data unlike the xbox 360 which is 4.7 gigs, the Wii being even less, but the Wii is more of a kids system so they don't need much to impress its age group, but PS3 and Xbox 360 is more of an older group system, there for war games and many others that involve gund, blood and many other fetures to make the game interesting and playible for the older group of people, many people just love graphics, many love all about a game, but PS3 and Xbox 360 will combined all thoughs and meet the gamers expection and maybe make new expections aswell, because some games for them to be good, they need real life graphics and sounds and textures, not kids animation which the Wii is designed for and to do, so it doesn't need hardcore grahics or anything to please the age group.

The other two systems need to meet older groups of people's expections so they need hardcore grahics, they need to make the game like a real life world, there for takes more time and needs more power to do.

PS3 could have been the most powerfull super computer in the world if it was made in 1998, that shows so much, because computers and technology has only evolved abit since then, mainly the gaming part of the technology, not much has happend, so that alone gives it something to praise over, Japan and there loyalty is another reason why it is preased by all of Japan, there is so much, but if you can't exept facts or any bit of information for what ever reason, then you cannot see or belive the truth, it can be for many reasons........ facts and information is only part of it...... the other is ether unkown or not..

Where are you getting this? Unless you give use a direct link to a reliable source your statement is as believable as a unicorn.





A) Where has anybody this? PS3 reads discs at 50 gig and Xbox 360 reads discs at 4.7 gig, this I know, but the Wii reading less than the 360?
Without a source, your statement is a useful as your previous statement.

B) The Wii is developed so that member of every age group will be able to play it and enjoy it. That means the same age group that 360 and PS3 are aimed at and every other age group.
