Did anyone else like this?
I watched it on Disney Channel last night - despite owning the video anyway - and I didn't remember how good it was! I thought it was great. My favourite character would have to be Dodger (surprisingly) or Tito..

Nah, a sequel would completely destroy it.
I think Rita might have been a Saluki.. I'm not sure. I like the Dobermans, apart from the scene in which they attack Dodger.

OMG I LOVE THAT FILM The songs are AWESOME...especially Why Should I Worry?! I learned all the words, and I'm forever singing that song
Dodger is sooo cool...I LOVE his talking/singing voice, Billy Joel ROCKS!!! Tito is adorable too...and his obsession with Gerorgette WAS funny
I absoloutely LOVE this movie!! And a sequel...I dunno. Scamp's Adventure made Lady and the Tramp WAAAAAAAY better, but Jungle Book 2 and Little Mermaid 2 were a little disappointing...

Doesn't Dodger like Rita? I swear I felt some slight chemistry from them in the film. (Well, I thought they'd hit it off . . .)
I liked this film a lot. For a modernized version of a classic book, it was done pretty well! Heck, you didn't even have to understand the book to understand the film (I haven't read the book "Oliver Twist", but I understand the basic plot . . . which the movie does a decently simple job at making the film entertaining, cute, and downright enjoyable to watch.).
As for a sequel . . . . Gah, please no sequels for this. I mean, what could they do: have Jenny and her family lose everything (this making Georgette pissed and Oliver worried) and having the dogs and Fagin to save them from poverty? what the heck.
And no romance sequels, please. Ew. It's so overused nowadays!

I think that Dodger is more of a 'lone wolf'.
Tito is a very funny character. Yeah, he and Dodger are my favourites.
Scamp's Adventure was good.. and I know this sounds weird but.. I don't think it should have been a sequel to Lady & the Tramp. I think it should have been a seperate film, with a slightly different storyline. The thing with the house-dog vs junkyard-dog thing was great, but it didn't suit the character of the original film.

Agreed
If both would've been seperate films, then maybe Scamp's Adventure would've been more popular. Everyone says it 'ruins the original', but it didn't. Disney just wanted to add more to LATT
But I don't agree with the Dodger being a 'lone wolf' thing
The first time we see him, he's coming onto a tiny over-fluffed dog, and he makes kissy-noises at her, and says a flirtatous; "Hiya..."
Also, during his song scene, there's two female dogs that dance to his song. They sing; "everything goes, everything fits" then Dodger grabs nearby flowers with his tail, raps, then showers the girls with them
