I had depression not too long ago. Battled it off without medications...it was a long hard battle, but in the end, I took it down. Just hang in there and try to keep yourself moving and around your friends. That's the advice I can give you from personal expirience.

Umm...no. I deal with my problems in my own way -- and it never involves self-wound-inflisctions.

Let me guess. Meditation, tea, and diaries. XD
I never get depression for too long. Whenever I do, I just blast my favorite music and it usually makes me feel better. I don't have any problems with it.

Just keep hanging in there, I know it's hard. It took me over a year to recover...

I've never had depression (despite the opinion of my mother and some of my friends), but I've had friends who have been seriously depressed before. True friends are the key, you have to have true friends. I don't mean the guy you know from work, or that person you see every so often. I mean someone you know you can count on, someone that cares about you, and actually wants to help you, just cause they give a darn. I think that if you have a true friend, then you can easily beat depression.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I do. I also watch "Who's Line is it Anyway?" That show almost always makes me laugh.

I hit depression right after Steve Irwin's death. I loved that funny guy, and realizing that I'll never see his new shows again and stuff hit me quite hard.

But don't worry; you have friends on the internet, correct? Pfft, who needs real-life friends anyway?
