The world has been at peace 8% of the time in the last 3500 years. It goes back to you cant make everyone happy.

I also agree with Dingo. You know, there are far more reasons besides war that the human race is on its downward spiral. The world in this day and age is, despite advances in technology and science, worse off socially and ethically than even 20 years ago.

I'd say that the world has come a long way from the 1970's. however, countries like america which refuse to adapt to new technologies (renewable energy, etc) and philosophies (such as the Kyoto(sp) treaty) are setting themselves up for big pitfall. I've noticed that the past six years are becoming more and more like the seventies. war is being waged for uncertain reasons against foes we cannot combate, the country is devided, human rights are slipping away and the environment is being treated like it will last for ever. No, humanity as a whole is not on a downward spiral, just america and the stupid people who are at it's helm. america was and still is a great nation, but unless there is some change to its policies, it wil not be a world power for much longer. The human races has survived for thousands of years. we've faced ice ages, droughts, predation, famine, and other unthinkable catastrophes. even in the event of a total human population crash, there will be those smart and strong who survive and carry on the human race.

I agree with Dingo abit, but the wars the fighting, everything that has heppend, Will there ever be peace? I personaly don't think so, for many reasons, one of them being because it's in human nature to fight and aurgue, we will never be the perfect peace, we will keep fighting we will kill each other, the simplest disagrement between to religons will coause a war, the simplest things will coase wars, when everyone should respect other religons without pushing it on others who don't falow it, that will make war, almost anything can make a war, it's sad, but it makes you wonder so many things of the past, present and futer, but we are responcible for all of this, for everything, this is all humanity's fault weather humans like it or not, all the chaos with the stunamies and others, to me its a sign, well more as punishment, but also a test to bring out the peace, sharing, helping in us, but still everyone fights with each other, so can you really say we will be at peace? can you? stop and think hard about it, because weather we fight or not, we will be doomed one day or another.... Truth sucks, but what can you do.
You may have made the choice to be kind and help people, but there are so many pthers who havn't chosen, or whom is already hating and fighting, many more born, to help? to fight? to do all, sometimes belifes are a bitch and there is nothing you can do about it, like life can be to, but you can try and hope that it will work and that is all we can to right now and maybe the onlything we will be able to do for the rest of the years to come......
I am not being mean, im not dissing any religon, I am just simply saying a possibleity, many things can happen, many people may belive something that is not true, others may disogree, and they fight, and where is the right and the wrong? Everyone would love the answers to all life's answers from the beginning of time to the end of time, if you want them, go get them, I have mentioned this before, but many people on here thought I was on crack when I mentioned it, but i'll mention it agian, everyone knows every answer, any question and every answer to every question, we all know it, it's the truth, look it up......
The human race, hmmm true it may come to an end, but we brought it on, be brought our end on, we brought it on ourselves, so you can change, but the whole world will never change.......

America is HARDLY the only section of humanity on a downward spiral. A thorough analysis of world politics, ethics and social conditions would prove that there are places far further down the bottomless pit than America.

7 sins that's all behind wars and etc...it's just 7 sins nothing more or less, it often comes and is caused by those seven ones. I don't remember them only some of them
