I said some time ago I would remake the wallpapers section, and it's now done! It now works in the same way as the fanarts.
The old desktops that were sent were moved into it, but now you can also send different kind of images (signatures, avatars, collages of screenshots...).
The pictures which won't be accepted though, are the pictures not related with Balto, and the screenshots not modified at all.

So, I have thought of several things :

- The current fan art mods will be the moderators for this section too. (at least, if you don't see any problem with this?) You'll be able to update the images by going in the fanart admin, and click on "Images admin of Balto Source"

- I am asking myself if there should be entrance pictures for the galleries, the same way as the fanarts. Or, is it better to leave just the name? I mean, if we use entrance pictures, the mods will need to make entrance pictures for ALL the current galleries, and then the new ones. (the same way as the fanarts, again) And if I decide to do that, I still don't know exactly how they should look like. Your opinions?

- Finally, the moderators should remove any gallery in which there is no image at all. I don't know why they appear, so just delete them.

1) I think having Gallery entrance pictures for these would make things MUCH easier. It also looks a lot nicer.
But the other fan art mods have to help out, because i feel like the only one who's been making new gallery entrance pictures....

2) And, i've been deleting imageless galleries, and they keep coming back o_O

This is very nice! So much easier, too. Maybe if you had everyone make their own enterance picture that would work?

No, they would be too different one from another, it wouldn't look good.

It's extreamly difficult for me to acess a gallery under the Desktops section because the names are so close together. So, there's another reason why they should have gallery entrance pictures xD It makes it easier to acess galleries

I really like this idea. Now we're not so limited. ^_^ I already sent in some of the signatures and avatars that I've made in the past.
Also, I think that gallery entrance pictures would be a good idea to help organize it and make the page look a little more attractive. I say go for it.

I think that gallery pictures would make it easier, because they are cluttered so close together...

And I have another suggestion... why not have mods for only that?? Because, I know as Bagel had said once (I think) something kept piling up when she left it alone for about a week.

It angered her, and she could use help with things?... I dont quite remember, though. But I think it would be a good idea to have mods just for this. Maybe 1 or 2 would probably work. ^_^ Someone who is on alot, as Bagel is. ^_^

This would mean more mods. But, the problem is that ALL the current fanart mods should make the miniature pictures, and not only update the gallery.
So, who will be ok to make the miniatures for the images galleries? If there aren't enough mods able to do it, I'll have to hire some people.

Will they still be the same black and white pictures like in the fan art gallery?

I think I won't, but that's also part of what I was asking when I said "what is your opinion"

I would do it for you. ^______^ Its no problem of mine, yo. I think it would work either way. And I know how they should also do gallery pics. Either way... I think you should get mods for the Fan Images who can also do the gallery pics. ^___^ Less people to hire??

I thought you already hired mods for that awhile ago...I remember a topic about it a few months ago. What happened to them?
Anyway, if you're looking for help, I'm more than happy to lend a hand.
