How many topics are you going to post about this? It seems that everytime you lose an argument, you post a new topic. It's really annoying, and the mods should be locking these topics, because it seems that the only reason you start them is to start a fight.
But since you decided to mention it...1080p is matching Sony. But I already posted a topic on this subject...one I see that you didn't bother to make idiotic comments in because you already lost the argument.
So you post another topic about the same stuff hoping for a different outcome.

this is big news and I do not understand how nobody can see this. I never lost the argument becaus eI never started one, I post the news.
Seriously, Im not posting Sony is crap threads..im posting xbox 360 news that partains to something bigger that is hurting sony. Geesh i dont see why people get so obnoxious about things. Jumping the ugn really...

Who cares about 1080p...Here in Europe, not even 1% of the TV sets can output 720p, and I think nearly no TV set in the US can output 1080p either.
If I would decide buying a PS3 over a 360, it would surely be due to the games and not the graphics or anything.
The PS3 games coming are already looking much more interesting to me (FF13, MGS4, Heavenly sword, White Knight Story, Afrika...)
But it's way too costy, so I probably won't own a PS3 before a few years. (I only bought the PS2 last year...)

I have seen a couple progressive scan tv's in the US..not many...1080i is more important i think...since almost all tvs have the ability to support that...usually.

When the PS3 comes out, I'm gonna see how it sits against Xbox 360 for reliability and price...I'll probably end up getting a 360 if the PS3 costs as much as it's rumored to.

Alpine..it hasnt been rumored for some months...its officially 500-600$
