Do you prefer films with live animals that talk, or don't talk?
Simple question really that's mainly answered with opinion... personally, I like it when the animals talk. But films like White Fang should be kept as they are. Not all films need the animals to talk. Whereas the newest Lassie movie should have had the dogs talking I think..

That depends. For example, like in The Chronicles of Narnia, with the wolf that looked real (but was actually CGI) talked, that was cool. or like that old show on Nickelodeon (Sidebar: I don't really watch TV anymore, and when I do, It's not that channel), uh, can't remember the title, but it was about that bully that's turned into a dog, and you see him talking... whatever that was, was pretty cool too. But, like O4E said, if it was intended to make simple morals blatantly obvious, (Which is what I thought of the songs in WQ), then it's a waste of special effects. If it's something like AxleWolf is doing (see his topic in the Balto 1 forum.) that's beyond awesome!

I prefer movies with live animals talking because a human can't really distinguish an animal's emotions through their face because they can't make really distinct facial expressions. But when it comes to cartoon animals its a different story. I can take either when it's a cartoon animal. I actually really enjoy it when animals don't talk when they're cartoons because they have more distinct facial expressions with eyebrows and whatnot, and one can just naturally tell how the character is feeling. Know what I mean?
