Hey gang!

Okay, I've received great response to my "Nome Meets Snob Hill" two-part fan fiction, for which I'm grateful! It's motivated me to continue with other fan fics.

I've also received a few requests to carry the story on to a sequel, bringing Lady and Tramp, with Darling, Jim Dear and Junior (and maybe even Scamp, Collette, Annette, and Danielle) up to Nome! Well, after all, I left the end of my fan fic wide open for that (including setting it up for that particular kind of storyline).

However, since I'm currently in the midst of trying to finish up another fan fiction, I'm not really focused on the crossover anymore. Nevertheless, I'd be willing to take any suggestions you all have on plot lines, story elements, etc. for a possible sequel. Please feel free to shoot me some ideas here, or by PM!

I'm going to be vacationing down in Cape Hatteras, NC for a week (as of Thursday), and will have some time to sit and concentrate on fan fics (when I'm not on the beach, or fishing, or exploring my favorite historical spots down there)...and should be able to get a lot done. So let's have those suggestions!

Arcturus075 suggests that maybe you have a slightly bigger jealousy between Balto and Tramp.

And jealousy between Dusty,Angel,Scamp,and Kodi.

Endanger the characters' lives, itll be fun. Im not saying kill them, but c'mon how cool would it be to see Tramp fight off a bear? In fact ima draw it now

That's the most intriguing idea so far! I stroke my bearded chin most pensively...

This has some merit too...but it would once again most likely be before Angel came along. I don't know. I'd have to think about this a bit...

You said in another reply that these take place before Angel enters the picture, meaning that Scamp still is in that stage that he wants to be wild and free (I'm hoping that you didn't change that sort of thing in him, right?).

So why not have Scamp look up to Balto instead? (since at this time, he knows nothing of the legend that his own father was on the streets of their hometown, and since Balto is sorta like Tramp's Nome equal . . . why not?) Then that would possibly add some of that wilderness danger with bears and stuff that Cat was suggesting (she has great ideas, you know?). Maybe a bit of adventure for the Princesses of Priss (Annette, Collette, and Danielle, I mean.) perhaps . . . but it's not that good of an idea (unless you could work something with that).

Maybe after I finish reading Part two, I'll change some things and suggest some more ideas for you to expand with, okay?

Not bad, Juuchan17! I like what you're suggesting! Even Tramp and Lady's daughters (and even Scamp) getting themselves into trouble has great potential! Yeah, I won't change Scamp. As I indicated elsewhere, I tend to stict strictly to the characters as they were originally designed. So it's good. Again, I should have some time to ponder these ideas while down in Cape Hatteras. heh heh...

... On my way to being a "legendary writer", huh? Gosh, I didn't know you cared! But really, writing has been a passion and a strength of mine for many years. Too bad I totally stink at math and am only, at best, a fair artist. LOL

I just finished reading the second part (and a couple of your recent comment replies on the site) and I think some things would be a bit of a challenge.

The fact that Balto and Jenna haven't had their WQ6 litter yet while Lady and Tramp's are like a few months old (is that right?) would be difficult to have the WQ6 interact with Scamp and Co. if they're going to be almost grown (which would destroy the events of Scamp's Adventure, in which they were at least six months old, being born around Christmastime and all . . . but then your story wouldn't be exactly in the same time frame as the movies suggest . . . meh, it's all fiction so I suppose it doesn't have to work out perfectly, right? Sorry to ramble on like this - I can be quite a "purist" on these types of things. ), but I suppose it would be interesting to have Scamp and his sisters at about a year old or so when they go to Nome . . . Maybe if Balto and Jenna's pups are about a few months old and allowed time to return to their parents for a quick vacation and have the two different sets of pups to meet, while Lady and Tramp adapt to the different Alaskan climate and another chance for them to see the memorable settings from the Balto series (like you did with Lady and Tramp's world in your fic) . . . I mean, Lady did ask about the Northern Lights, right? I suggest that one scene has to have the whole "broken bottles, the "sun", and to the north -" speech . . . ^__~ And maybe another rivalry showdown, perhaps? (*cough*Balto/Steele*cough*)

I sense that most of the pups would become attracted to or become great friends with the three Cocker Spaniel sisters, thus giving Scamp and Aleu some time to explore the wiles of the wild, if you know what I mean. (No, not by falling in love . . . well, unless you want it to . . . this is a "pre-Angel" story, right?) This is just a thought . . .

Okay, so this could be a bigger, longer idea than you're expecting for your story, but if you wouldn't mind me writing a story based on your fic (using a couple of these ideas . . . mainly with Scamp and Aleu, of course . . . that intrigues me, unless you want it - it's up to you!), I can use the rest of the ideas for my own.

(I don't think I ever stop thinking after I get an idea from a fic!)

And no prob about the "legendary writer" thing. You're a new writer here, but I like the way your mind works! The more fics you write, the better they will become! (I'm no good at math either, I doodle and sketch too much, and I tend to rant a lot when provoked. It's all normal. XD )

I say go for it, Juuchan! I'm honored that my work is inspiring people to do similar spin-offs even based on MY fiction! That's a real feather in my cap!

I'll ponder these things...the beaches at Cape Hatteras are prime for sitting and thinking. They don't get crowded like such places as the Jersey Shore, Ocean City, Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, and Miami. And they're HUGE (it's about 200 yards from the dunes to the surf in most places!). In the evening, as the sun sets over the sound behind them (Cape Hatteras forms part of a chain of "barrier islands" off the mainland of North Carolina), it makes for some very dramatic scenery! And since there are miles and miles of protected, undeveloped shoreline in between each small town, it's DARK at night (making star gazing wonderful!). All this is a marvelous setting for hatching creative ideas.

Heh heh...I really didn't expect such a passionate response to my first fan fiction...from everyone so far! I'm touched!

Hmm. Again, I'll give that some thought. It sounds like an interesting twist, if it can be pulled off (given what I've already established).

I am getting close to finishing my story on the final days of Togo (I have set him into the Balto cartoon universe)...it's going to be much shorter than the Nome Meets Snob Hill story, but should be VERY dramatic...perhaps even a bit of a tear-jerker for those who know and love Togo and his heroic story!
