Have you heard?? Outraged people are going off and killing Stingrays in revenge of Steve Irwin's death.

When I first heard news of this, I said one thing. And these are my exact words, quote for quote.

"Steve Iriwn would have not wanted it this way. His goal was to protect wildlife, not kill it."

People really arent thinking of what Steve would of wanted. Its true, you all know it. He wanted to protect wildlife. Killing Stingrays for spit is not at all what Steve would have done.

What kind of people would do such a thing?? I mean, as upset as I was, I would never have thought of going off and killing Stingrays!!!!!

What? So if a Croc had gotten Steve, would people be attempting to kill Crocs, too?!! Sadly, I am sure many would.

It isnt what killed Steve, its the fact that something did kill him, and people are seeking revenge. I dont know why anyone would think Steve would approve of killing Stringrays. I really dont understand it.

People do stupid things sometimes, I know. But, how low can the human race go?? They have sunk low before, but this time I just dont know. Innocent Stingrays are being slautered in his name... And Steve would not like it this way...

Yeah I heard that. Steve certainly wouldn't of been too pleased.

Of course not. Steve was a protector of animals, and he tried to have the world follow him. His words still ring in my ears.

This little act, just shows how much his words didnt get through to some poeple. ><

Psh, what a lame way to avenge someone. Is that REALLY what Steve Irwin would've wanted? No. Would he have blamed that stingray for killing him? No. It was his own fault and he knew it and he knew that he was going to die doing his job once he GOT his job. People don't understand and this makes it all the more inexcusable.

I was expecting him to die by a Croc, but he died by a sting rey and well that would suck and im sure he would have rather died by a croc aswell. but also Steve well, he was very annoying and him being well stupid and nosey to cretures that snap, how is that intertaining? well it would have been if he would have got snapped^^

Funny in one respect...I posted this very news in the earlier Steve Irwin thread, and I think hardly no one replied. Not one word. I even posted a link to a story from MSN. It is a real shame that people are so stupid!

The Human Race really does surprise me even when I think it will go no further...

When I think they have done the worst... they do something else.

Humans are capable of anything. They're minds can be really freaky sometimes.

That seems more like a blow to Steve. Your all right he would cringe at the thought even!

Things like these are why I think of myself as a 'human-looking wolf'.

Somehow, I kind of predicted that this would happen, I mean, not that I wanted it to happen, but knowing the way people are these days, my mind showed me an image of a news report about this happening the day he died...

sick people, they're not angry about his death, they're just using it as an excuse to kill something, as far as i'm concerned it was an accident and nothing more.
it wasn't as if the stingray purposely tried to kill him, it was just a freak accident, they happen all the tim.
god people make me sick!

I hear that if he hadnt pulled out the barb, he might have lived.... But that is just what I hear...
