Firstly Digimon is not a copy of Pokemon, Digimon came out first in Japan, so just wnated too clear that up. Secondly, Digimon has better more original characters, also better plot and animation, there moves were better, you can also understand digimon which pokemon you could not, come on it gets annoying every episode hearing "pika pika!".

I think they're both equal in both suckiness and "classicness" I liked both when I was a kid and now I find them both annoying LoL But I must say both are very fun to draw

Yeah, I have to agree with Cat. I mean, it's a matter of opinion really. When I was about 7, 8 years old, my favorite character was Pikachu. And, for one thing, I never really watched Digimon that much, because even as a young child, it didn't grasp my attention.

Its probably because Pokemon were cuter than Digimon, at least to most children's opinions, because children love cute things. And you all have to admit, Digimon aren't exactly cute. Some may be, but for the most part, no.

xDD. Digimon is my fav. Even though I don't like it anymore. xD.

I grew up with Pokemon, so it's special to me.

Well, I was a Pokemon fan first, but then I grew more interested in Digimon . . . then faded out of it.

Fortunately, my fandom for Digimon has been rekindled! I still like Pokemon a little, but not as much as I used to. I think they've added too many new monsters . . . . (I remember I used to memorize the order of the first 151 Pokemon . . . I've forgotten it. XD) Digimon, however, I've always loved the English dub and now I'm watching the first season in its original form (Japanese, no subtitles), so I'm loving it.

Story-wise, Digimon wins hands down. Monster-wise, it's a tie (I dig Pikachu still, but some of the Digimon are cute too!). And battle-wise . . . well, Digimon is so much better! (they evolve (*cough*digivolve*cough*) and afterwards they go back to their original form, unlike Pokemon (in which once they evolve, they can't turn back), so yeah.)

Wait, that came before pokemon did? Huh, never knew that, I thought that Pokemon came out first, well, maybe it did in the US, but I gotta say that it is annoying when the pokemon have to play sherades every time they tell a human something... at least you knew what the digimon said, but I think that they both got really crappy in the end. They got too carried away with the number of pokemon (how many are there now, like 300, maybe?), and digimon is still around, but... I never really watched it.

Well,

I used to like pokemon when I was a bit younger. (I still, however, love the pokemon games xD and just love Pikachu.) And I love the first pokemon, but they just ruined it. They went way tooo far, so many movies, and same with digimon. I mean, come on, are we NEVER going to see the end of digimon and pokemon? (Mainly pokemon.) xP

I say pokemon beats digimon, and I don't really like pokemon or digimon. =P Truly, don't you get sick of seeing Ash? -shivers- I strongly dislike him. He is annoying, annoying voice, and well.. Just annoying.

Poor pikachu changed so much. =( I like the old pikachu much better, after all, I love in the first how she was mean to ash in the first pokemon. And I liked alot of the pokemon, until they over-did it and ruined everything. They have like what .. 400 pokemon? Or 300. -_- And I dislike the "baby" pikachu called pihchu or whatever. -sigh- Oh well ..

Well I liked season 1,2,3 of digimon especially three, new characters yes! And also guilmon was so much fun, anyway season 4 is horrible, season 5 looks good but the digivises look like iPODS!

Digimon serisoly sucks, Pokemon does to. Both get a like -100 on my scale. But thats my opion.

The onlything I can say is CORNEY!!^^ lol they both were well stupid^^ but Digimon was better^^

I've always been a Pokemon fan. Even as a kid, I felt Ash was a great role model. He'd give his life willingly to save any Pokemon, his or otherwise.

I never watched Digimon. So, I really don't have an opinion on it.

Pokemon started getting boring at around the 4th season (Pokemon Master Quest) mainly because of Team Rocket. Honestly, if they finally die, Pokemon might not be as lame anymore...

I used to be mad on Pokemon when I was like 6. I had a spaz attack once because I got a rare pokemon card. xD

Meh digimon's alright, but pokemon is better.
